Re: Use larger section cable?
it depends on the maximum intensity that this "load" terminal can pass. On many regulators, it's just intended to manage lighting, so a rather low current. If consumption exceeds what this terminal can pass, then the information must be relayed. Thank you. And...

Re: Use larger section cable?
Thank you, in the event of a voltage drop, the Load terminal protects me against deep discharge. This is the technical part. And for the practical question:
1- I can or not connect a "12-24v" fridge and a bulb on the Load terminal?
2- If not, what connection should be made?

Re: Use larger section cable?
Thank you for your answers.
Another question; How is the regulator's "load" output used to connect a 12v fridge and 1 or 2 bulbs? Otherwise if there is another method without using this output

Re: Use larger section cable?
All of this has to do with sizing. - Between the panel and the regulator, the recommended cable section is 10mm2 for 10 meters. - Between the regulator and the batteries (24v), the recommended cable section is 4mm2 for 2 meters. I was planning to take 10 meters of 10mm2 cable sachan ...

Use larger section cable?
Hello
Apart from the extra cost, can I use a larger section cable that is 4mm pass 10mm? Example use the surplus of the panel cable (10mm) to regulator to connect the regulator to the battery (4mm)? Is there an advantage to this or a risk?
Thank you in advance

From this point of view, I will have to lower my ambitions. Even if in my 1st calculations, the return on investment occurred after a year, but that was before your interventions. But hey, I will not give up.

Re: Help sizing freezer Steca PF 240
It is the concern of the ambient temperature (varies between 30 and 40 °). Putting so much in a battery for a 5-year lifespan is very expensive. So I need 4 batteries 150 in 12v. I also have a question, is freezing in a solar fridge slower or faster than a standard fridge ...
