Ok with your references I would like to believe your consumption of 8l / 100.
Regarding my R25, I had for some time a pb of idle speed regulator, the membrane was pierced and it spit gasoline in the intake manifold, even in LPG mode.
In fact my 10l / 100 was with automatic gearbox, but it dropped and I mounted a manual gearbox. So, now that everything is fine, LPG set, I will redo some consumption measurements.

if your 126Cv GTX consumes 10L / 100, it must have a problem .... mine, the 2.0 very similar to the 2.2 of your car, consumes 8L / 100 with the wheel: me, which is fun regularly ... I do not drive at 90 but rather at 120, not at 130 but rather at 150 / 160

On the petrol injection engine, part of the petrol is used to cool the mixture. Instead of using fuel, water is used to cool the mixture. You can also dope by putting a little alcohol in it.
It is the same function as an air / air exchanger, except that the cooling is constant and configurable.
That said, this injector can be used for supplying water to the reactor.
