on your trubo, you can try to mount a high-performance heat exchanger. And you can also try injecting water directly into the intake manifold. it would be interesting to see what it can do.

nicobrur : Arrow:

if your 126Cv GTX consumes 10L / 100, it must have a problem .... mine, the 2.0 very similar to the 2.2 of your car, consumes 8L / 100 with the wheel: me, which is fun regularly ... I do not drive at 90 but rather at 120, not at 130 but rather at 150 / 160

Ok with your references I would like to believe your consumption of 8l / 100.

Regarding my R25, I had for some time a pb of idle speed regulator, the membrane was pierced and it spit gasoline in the intake manifold, even in LPG mode.

In fact my 10l / 100 was with automatic gearbox, but it dropped and I mounted a manual gearbox. So, now that everything is fine, LPG set, I will redo some consumption measurements.

See you soon maybe on www.renault25.com. I am registered, but no time to intervene, there are too many interesting places to forumer on the internet.

I have no V6turbo on hand ... I plan to buy it if it is possible to do something about it !!

you mean water in mist ... or in vapor at more than 100 °?

what does it do? otherwise I try on my 2.0 ... when the engine will go up in the body ..!

Hello,
an injection of cold mist, at room temperature or slightly below. It is a principle used on certain rally cars.

fog ... it looks a bit like pantone, reactor in months?

Jean,
no, not really, especially since the pantone is ultimately only a copy of other reactors.
On the petrol injection engine, part of the petrol is used to cool the mixture. Instead of using fuel, water is used to cool the mixture. You can also dope by putting a little alcohol in it.
It is the same function as an air / air exchanger, except that the cooling is constant and configurable.
That said, this injector can be used for supplying water to the reactor.

Hello,
injection of water or alcohol mixture into the intake of an engine
does not have the same purpose as the panton, it may look alike,
but the injection of fine drops of cold water into the engine is above all to increase the power, prevent detonation,
cool the intake air to increase the filling, to be able to operate with higher compression ratios, for the sole purpose of drawing more power from the engine, without taking consumption into account,
While the water doping pant, what we introduce into the engine is hot humid air at 160c and its goal is not to increase power, but to achieve fuel economy and decrease the pollution,
We are in a water mist injection condition, when we drive with a cold reactor, it will be easy to send directly what comes out of the bubbler into the engine, just 2 pipes to connect I will have to try!
Michelm has to try injecting water mist at the entrance of the turbo he can tell you about it.

on a turbo engine, it is simply to cool the air, so we can reduce consumption by limiting the injection of petrol, since it is no longer petrol that cools.
How do you do in Canada, for regulations and legality?
please

a small question, or can I find detailed plans for mounting a pantone system on a petrol car? :?: 8)

with a list of necessary parts ... :D : Wink:

Hello Gil 67
You forgot that the petrol injection engine the amount of petrol injected is always controlled at 14.7 / 1 depending on the mass of air swallowed, hot or cold, the Lamda probe is occupied, the rest of the controls are for anticipate the inertia of the air, of the driver (TPS) and inform the computer of the temperatures, air, engine ect ..
The main role of petrol is not to cool the mixture
since, when we reach the end of compression, it must be as hot as possible just below the self-ignition point.

What legality? I pretty much have the same reasoning as ZAC
on this point of view, the legality applies especially in places with high concentration, in places with low populations
the application is more difficult, we trust common sense
citizens, it is not for a very very small minority who tinkers with pants that they will pass laws, they have other cats to whip.
The health system alone keeps governments busy and for a long time ...
