Okay, Breizh. The contract must stipulate in full that the Pantone process is not approved and that the insurance also covers any claim due to this process. Free to insurance to accept or refuse to insure under these conditions.
After the emission on F2 very favorable to the Pantone, maybe something will end up moving in the direction of a homologation, but I am pessimistic: a process which makes it possible to resuscitate old cars is likely to slow down the sale of new cars , the builders will not like ...

We can reasonably hope that when there are enough pantonized cars, insurers will be interested in this clientele of thoughtful people who are not too prone to accidents. "Come to us, we insure pantonized cars!"
To my great shame, my cars (205 D and ZX station wagon TD) are still not equipped. I just roll partially with ED rapeseed oil (highly that they sell in bottles of 5 or 10 l!)
Even if I defend myself with an oxy-acetylene torch, it is not easy to cut the exhaust of vehicles that we use every day. I have neither the talent nor the courage of Toftof who did not hesitate to experiment on his work tool (tractor). Will have to find the pieces for scrap and make the exchange when everything is ready ...

Something new: I contacted my “vintage car” insurer, explaining the principle, the goal, the results, he told me I will look. he called me back, after coming to our forum , given my deuch, the reaction: very positive, I must make the written request for the seat of the insurance, hope to fall on understanding people willing to get things done, a big step for humanity ??? : Mrgreen:
I keep you up to date!

Hello!

So, did you get the answer after just over a month?

I'm quite interested in the water doping system on diesel engines ... and that would suit me if my future insurance [I don't have a car yet : Cry: ] could cover the "device" ...
