He's "just" the CEO of a hydrogen storage company, a solar panel company, and a fuel cell company (among others).

For him, the price does not have to matter much and he has all the skills of companies available.
"His" house is just a demonstration of the know-how of his various companies ...
It proves that it is doable (there was no doubt about it), not that it is economically feasible.

Note that it thus supplies several vehicles and that in addition the area of the house must certainly be several times my 250m²!

I still have this Image
and he doesn't even have a follower !!! : Cheesy:

NB you must see the kWp of its (at first sight) 90 panels, mine (30) are each 327kWp

And these figures do not shock you?

And these figures do not shock you?

The colossal means (in the USA everything is disproportionate, even the average gray footprint of each inhabitant) that he used that obviously shocks with regard to the principle of volontary simplicity which should be the priority of any environmentalist worthy of the name (°), who also animates me which allowed me with very big sacrifices (no budget devoted to holidays, luxury ... a car that is 22 years old soon) to be able to make my old habitat (> 50 years old) with positive energy (water, electricity and heating).

° Hold on! N. Hulot would have several cars and motorcycles ...: "Nicolas Hulot said nine vehicles in the ministers' heritage statement. In addition to a boat, an electric scooter and a BMW motorcycle, six cars were declared. "(Source)

It was not the subject, I spoke about the consistency of the figures 160/60, and I do not see what N. Hulot comes to do in there.

In fact I think he means that during the summer, 60% of the 160% PV produce hydrogen
and that during the winter, since it has only 60% of the electricity consumption needs via the PV, it ensures the difference with the 60% bonus during the summer and which have been converted into hydrogen.
We also say in the article: "Managing seasonal energy consumption
allows you to build up a sufficient hydrogen reserve for the winter
. "

Simply to say implicitly that it is not only in the USA that everything is oversized also for those who want to make renewable
but in France we are "well served" at the top of the state!
This is shocking!

This is not from my point of view the subject, open another thread if you want to talk about that.

I may have reacted a little fast thinking winter / summer as 3 months.

If we divide the year into two seasons, winter October-March and summer April / September, the 60/160 ratio is perhaps not too false, especially when going south.

In Belgium you have to see.

Edit: New Jersey where the project is located is basically the latitude of Madrid.
