Palazetti Termopalex / Edilkamin Hydro?

by JORASSES » 05/03/08, 11:24

Hello,

I read this forum with pleasure for several days, very interesting. Especially since we are in the middle of renovating an old and big house. I write to you from Navarre.

I did a search on the forum but I can not find anything, or I do not do it well.
I would like to install a classic wood burning fireplace. There is already a fuel oil boiler powerful enough, but expensive fuel level. The challenge is to install a chimney type Palazetti termopalex or Edilkamin and connect it to the circuit of water radiators.
The house is quite large (250m2), the price of the installation quite high (7000 €) and we would like to know if anyone has feedback experience to share.

Thank you in advance.

We have a lot of testimonials that go in this direction.

7000 € it seems huge for a succession of boiler! This is the price of a complete oil boiler installation! 7000 € = a Pellet stove with ECS AND 4m² of solar panels!

At the yield level, I do not recommend the installation of an open fireplace : rather use a good wood stove or pellets. (Be careful the pellets will be a little more expensive to use).

Here is a folder on pellets that should interest you: https://www.econologie.com/chauffage-cen ... -3624.html

Personally we heat with solar wood with a small boiler wood but completely different from your idea, you will find diagram and plan here: https://www.econologie.com/forums/schema-cha ... t4266.html

Here is another topic on the subject:

and finally a schematic wood-solar beast: https://www.econologie.com/forums/couplage-b ... t4933.html

That's all for the moment, do not hesitate to browse the forums:

Thank you for the answer.

In the 7000 € it is necessary to count: the fireplace (Palazetti Termopalex or Edilkamin Hidro 100), the installation and decoration of it, the connection to the already existing water circuit (hose + pump + probe + control panel) and the 8m stainless steel conduit.

These chimneys are closed by a large window and have a yield of about 72%. It connects to the circuit of the diesel boiler. The boiler and the fireplace work complementarily and independently.

Nobody put up a Palazetti Termopalex or an Edilkamin Hidro?

Goods.

Ben even with that, 7000 € it's still expensive ...

Pkoi do you want a fireplace / insert at all costs? The models you are talking about are stoves, not fireplaces ...

Here's something you should be interested in too: https://www.econologie.com/forums/poele-a-gr ... 41-20.html

There is professional Edilkamin on this forum: try to contact him (click on the mail icon or MP) https://www.econologie.com/forums/membre1944.html

ps: be careful not to rename from A to Z a title of a forum because we would meet there faster ...

I want a classic fireplace to enjoy the fire and also braising meat or fish. And the models I'm talking about are not stoves, they are classic inserts with a water recuperateur (excuse me for the accents: my computer is kidding)

Thanks again. I sent a mp to the pro.

ps: you're right for the title. :D

Ben is your choice but an insert will never have the performance of a stove ... except on paper.

Look at this subject to convince yourself: https://www.econologie.com/forums/foyers-fer ... t4953.html

There are stoves with "barbecue" function and / or mini oven. Edilkamin in fact ...

Currently a product that I like:
www.cpcaminetti.it , multiflex h2o

they burn pellet or wood indifferently, and when the wood is almost no longer heated, the pellet takes over automatically.
It remains to be seen the quality of combustion and the yield.
