All of this converges to a disproportion in the ratio of pellets / combustion air, at least at certain times. There is not enough air (or too much pellets). The combustion is smothered, it smokes and it deposits soot. On it, we will be doc agree.

That's the reason!

a) I think it is unlikely that there are "too many" pellets; it is the feed screw which doses: it works or it does not ...

b) it seems to me, therefore, probable that there is not enough air at times.

And here we have gone through a lot of parameters:

- air in the room: we had it was good (garage door open, it does not change anything)
- overpressure in the chimney due to the wind: it was said that no
- obstacle "somewhere" in the chimney: we said no, since at certain times it works
- basically remains the path of the air in the exchangers: a priori, you opened, and it was not encalminated; a priori, the cleaning mechanism of the "turbulators" works?
- more and more, this seems to be limited to the side of the fan: drops in the diet?

1) Either it is also encalminated (this happened once on mine: behind the flange, which carries the fins, bistre had accumulated; it "rubbed" against the flange; suddenly, the fan speed decreased disassembly and the fact of "going" behind the flange with pieces of cardboard cut into strips had solved the problem).
2) Brooms ??? (but two and a half years seems short - the life expectancy is I think much more important - after you are never safe from a defect and abnormal wear)
3) Electronics: bug in the electronic board that drives this and continuously calculates the speed needed to send the command ...

I turned the fan out of the boiler and it seems to be working well (no noise and clean enough). There is bistre that accumulates at its location, so I cleaned again but not really change.

The plate of the burner is filled with pellets but it burns a little on one side. Knowing that air must come through small holes on this plate that little can be played no?
The screw that brings the pellets rotates almost constantly, pellets do not even have time to burn and accumulates in the home.
What is the element that manages the pellet feed?

The feed screw and the fans are managed by an electronic board.

Again, I do not know the SMART. On mine, it works with a "time step": like an "electric pulse of 2 seconds" followed by a pause of 5, etc ... The two time steps varying (more or less screw time or more or less pause time) depending on demand, combustion phase ...

Attention, during a cold start, I also have a continuous supply, to fill the burner. The boiler is then in “ignition phase 1”, followed by “ignition 2” phase (where it still ventilates, but the supply dries up), before switching to “normal” mode (where air and pellets are modulated). All this is determined by the temperatures of the fireplace and the smoke.

Can you certify that neither the air intake nor the flue are blocked?
Did you run a brush over the entire length of the chimney and did you see it pass?
What do you like to smoke?
it smells like a clogged chimney or too cold

If I do not confuse "the cases", it is about a SMART therefore an Okofen with condensation. The duct is cold (at the boiler outlet, it is around 35 ° C, depending on the modulation).

It is therefore a stainless steel casing (it drips).

And the extraction of gases is therefore pulsed.

then only a physical plug remains, if the plug is removed by a mass of cold air.
unless the message "smoke wind" means that the extractor is defective, which is also possible.
Indeed, there is usually a measurement of the rotational speed on the extractor, and if the required speed is not reached or if the measured speed is aberrant the machine is mistaken. Does anyone have a list of error messages and their meanings?

On the "Pellematic", it is a fan of German origin EBM-PAPST. I remember that someone had reported on a forum an axis slightly twisted due to unbalance due to a deposit of bistre ...

yes, we find the EBM at many manufacturers and generally with speed sensor.
I suspect that this sensor gives a value too high, so the card tries to slow down, which causes the lack of air.
And since the value does not fit within the accepted range, it is erroneous.

I have a stainless steel chimney and it is not clogging.
However, I restart the boiler and I have the impression that the smoke falls off when it comes out of the chimney. Then it accumulates in the burner and the fire chokes.
The smoke stagnates and has difficulty exiting the duct.
Think that the smoke is too cold?

I have cleaned all the duct, fan, fireplace, etc, it turns a half day and rebels ..
I tested with other pellets but nothing to do
I have the impression that there is too much pellet and that they do not have time to burn properly.
Is there a setting?
