Hi,
I'm just starting to read this thread with Dirk Pitt's photo on the front page:
I think Okofen considers this value of P114 to be excellent.
With what type of hydraulic circuit has this value been obtained? [with or without buffer? Radiators? PCBT? Heated walls? ...] This info was probably given, but I have not found it yet.
Time tracking operation on boiler OKOFEN
Re: OKOFEN boiler time tracking
no buffer tank, radiators fonts but tuning long fine-tuned and circulator managed by the boiler automaton and not by the regulator TEM (there was a specific subject above)

Re: OKOFEN boiler time tracking
Well ok for the installation.
Ok also for theUsing the UW port on okofen boiler and the setting that goes with it. I will compare with mine which from memory is quite similar.

pass the P181 to 100 (as 100%) is the modulation% of the circulator. my circulator does not support PWM hashing
then pass the P281 to a value 2 degrees above the closing value V3V. in my case, the V3V closes at 65. so I put 67 in P281, then pass the P282 to 1. it's the hysteresis.
thus, when the temperature drops in the boiler, if it goes under 66 ° the circulator stops immediately, preventing the boiler from going down too low.
the circulator will restart on 68 °
After checking, here is my setting:
- boiler reference at 68 ° (ie halfway between its min (60 °) and its max (76 °)
- pump threshold at 65 ° (hysteresis = 0)
- closing v3v to 60 ° (original value, I think)

2nd season with my boiler, no maintenance yet.
on the other hand another tip this year: my burnt pellets (or partially) fall into the ashtray on the left side. (see photo) last year it seems to me that it fell balanced in the ashtray, all around the tray, but there it is annoying because the ashtray fills up on the left side, then overflows, while on the right it does not there is not much
Hi,
I have the same problem as chaboum on my boiler, namely a lot of ash on the left side of the ashtray. I removed the plate, cleaned it and put it back and the boiler does not restart. Accumulation of pellets but no ignition .. However, I am sure I have put the plate correctly and I blocked my air inlets to prevent ash from entering ... Do you have any idea of the problem?
Thank you

Re: OKOFEN boiler time tracking
Your pile of ashes on the left is not ash: they are badly burnt, charred pellets.
There is a big combustion problem: too much pellet feed? wet pellets which do not ignite well + very short cycle leading to a lot of starts?
The ash should be fluid a bit like cement ...
There, for the lack of starting, you must check that the igniter works: put your hand with caution; it must heat up and blow hot air; at the same time, there must be a mound of pellets. It is common that after disassembling / cleaning the disc, there are not enough pellets. Normally, the boiler repeats the ignition program, which begins with an operation of the screw to make the "mound" ... So 2 or 3 attempts, after having emptied, this is normal (you can, by the row commands 2 accessible with a code that I revealed somewhere, manually turn the screw, after cleaning, to fill the pipe + the disc).

Thank you for your answer Did67. It's chaboum's photo, not mine!
Once restarted, I went back there and the ashtray began to fill with pellets so no ignition .. But the igniter works because it produces heat.

And it still has not turned on ???
I strongly recommend you then the microwave test (do a search with the motor, it is described on one of the "okofen" or "pellets" wires), to know the degree of humidity of your pellets ...

Re: OKOFEN boiler time tracking
No unfortunately ... I don't understand why! The heating engineer told me last night that the plate must be incorrectly repositioned. However, the two air inlets are well in the nozzles of the plate ...
For the microwave test, I will look at thank you. It is the same supplier as usual and I had no problem until December when I had a lot of unburnt which accumulated in the ashtray and on the plate. Hence the dismantling of the plate but the holes were not blocked.

You haven't refueled ???
A supplier is one thing. Among the best, even certified, there can be hiccups!
