Yes anyway it is certain that if you are satisfied with the functioning of your air conditioning it is useless to invest in it.
Most often it is by working on the fridge circuit that things get worse afterwards.
It may just be your condenser that is dirty ...

Hi,

For those who want to get an idea of air / water heat pumps.
As promised the KWH meter reading of the person concerned, with a little delay, sorry!
As of the 12th of this month: 3700Kwh.
Thereupon add 60L of fuel oil that the boiler consumed during the cold period of December.

This weekend, I spoke PAC and I relay here the information that I heard and that must be taken subject to confirmation.

1-Heat pumps with horizontal geothermal energy can be a problem depending on the type of terrain, the earth in contact with the pipes can shrink leaving a vacuum between the pipe and the earth; result: the pump turns like crazy without being able to supply sufficient calories.

2-The Sofath company would have many lawsuits on the back due to a bad study of the underground pipe networks. In the subdivisions, the plots sold being smaller and smaller, the land available for burying the pipes is increasingly limited >>> to avoid the problem, the pipes were laid with a pitch (spacing) smaller than this that we should >>> result: the earth freezes up to 80 cm deep, so for the calories tintin! It seems to me that the Sofath system uses freon in the external circuit.

3-More and more owners are thinking of changing their heating, are making quotes for air / air or air / water heat pumps, generally in the range of € 15000 to 20000, or half as much after subsidy: pure madness ! Finally, this is the new thing you need to have, no matter how long it will take to pay off, but you have to have it : Evil:

Hello

I have a friend who let himself be convinced by replacing his fuel oil boiler with an air / water heat pump
The installation cost 15000 euros and will receive 7500 euros in subsidies
The salesperson who calculated the break-even period apparently got stuck in the electrical power consumed by the thermodynamic group. But as nothing is written, it becomes complicated for both parties.
For the moment, the salesperson reimburses the electric KWH in addition to those announced, but for how long? They must install a more powerful group for him!

In short, I have the impression that among the installers of PAC, he especially has opportunists who want to seize the opportunity to sell fashionable equipment with a big margin. They may hope that out of the number of installations, few dissatisfied people will dare to attack them without the technical evidence of their incompetence.

Yes and it would be interesting to know their margin on this type of material; I have heard of 200/300% but would like confirmation. In any case if that is a real scandal and state aid should not be awarded.
Capt Maloche perhaps know more about the subject?

I know the answer to one of them.

He told me less than 400 electricity € with a pump that turns a few hours a day (mostly at night).

For now, this is not an average since the installation has just one year. For the amount I trust him, he is accountable ...

If these figures are accurate, it's a product that is quickly profitable (I speak of a new construction, 15 000 € is not much more expensive than installing gas, oil or wood boiler)

I have figures for air / water heat pumps with underfloor heating installation it's 0.77 euros / m² per year so it's really not much
it is a box in Angouleme which does that, they are followed by the ADEME it is not theory since it is in operation in a dwelling.

But nothing prevents from supplying a heat pump with solar PV panels

about this a site of a very deserving Briton who did this:

the photovoltaic heat pump that really works:
http://chargingtheearth.blogspot.com/p/ ... -blog.html

I think he could have copied more www.dlsc.ca and have a cheaper system, less heat pump and more summer heat for the winter with more drilling in return, but much less breakdowns without long term heat pump !!
see :
http://www.dlsc.ca/DLSC_Brochure_f.pdf
http://www.dlsc.ca
To read and study thoroughly !!

Hello everybody

It has been more than 10 years and even rather almost 20 years that I ask myself the questions how to do the best.
I'm more into action. So yes I acted obviously by doing the best of what I thought.

When I bought my old house I had a lot of work to do.

Insulation again and again.

Heated floor on the ground floor (in three operations over 11 years) and oversized radiator upstairs.

Investment in a heat pump (I hope it's not a bad word) on the tablecloth to reduce the use of my oil boiler to the minimum. 22 days a year. And since 8 years that it is installed I hope that there is prescription :P

Then the solar thermal at the beginning with 2 collectors for DHW and then three more to have a wider coverage of my DHW and start to do some solar heating of the house. And in the end I am currently with 6 solar thermal collectors.

Of course all this by doing again and again insulation and optimization of my heating system.

I just switched to photovoltaic solar power a few weeks ago just 3 kVa to see surplus resale. I hope that again this is not a bad word.

I am very surprised to see so many reviews on photovoltaic heat pump or solar installations. Of course I use electricity for my heating but with a very good cop about 5. But my solar thermal makes me a good supplement especially since I succeeded year after year to have improved my water law and work at very low temperature. it’s always too much but the efforts are paying off I use less and less energy even if it always costs me more and more expensive : Evil:.

I just quoted for a second heat pump for my work.

The heat pump of 50 KW costs 11k € HT so when I hear about private installation at 40k € I do not understand his statements: either he is an eco-delinquent installer or the words are excessive :?:
And I did not spend 40k € as I can see above. for my PAC installation very far from it.

Ditto for my photovoltaic solar installation often rightly decry as a very financial solution and well it is not my case it cost me only 6,5 k €. So I think that you are generalizing too much and that we cannot criticize everything. We don't know what to do anymore : Shock:

Considering nuclear electricity in France, when a Cherno6fukushima occurs in France (inevitable sooner or later because men are not infallible in perpetuity) with an entire region, emptied of its inhabitants, incultivable, and nuclear electricity completely stopped, as in Japan today, in a few days, what will you do with your heat pump that has become useless ????

The true heating solution is of the type www.dlsc.ca discussed here, perpetual, which consumes nothing, which replaces all nuclear and thermal, without CO2.

You got scammed, like me, because the heat pump consumes energy, maintenance, replacement given its limited lifespan, etc. in addition to its total lack without electricity.
