Construction of a copper heat exchange coil

Unread Messageby owen » 05/09/08, 13:07

Hello,

I want to build a heat exchanger coil to tigrou sauce (plastic tank rainwater 1000l).

My question concerns the length to provide for the purchase of copper.
How much should be the total length and diameter of the copper?

merci

Hello

to give a quick response before disconnecting.

Pipe 25metres in 20 / 22 round. (Small correction)

may be the other person will refine the length or diameter.

tigrou : Mrgreen: actually doing this saucer by rain.

25 meters.

No, I do not believe.

I thought 6 meters. 25 20 meters in diameter here costs how much?

they sell to DIY by length of 3 meters Loop is 2m law.

Make welding is dangerous with time his risk of breaking with the heat in time? I am wrong.

And connections seamless I saispas what happens soaked in water at high t °.

here costs a fortune in spare cable length.

The exchanger plate is not it more economical?

the plate heat exchanger, that's fine, that's what we used in compressed air dryers, but here do not grow on trees in the market accessible to individuals.
exchangers, I have seen at fairs: 5 or 6 towers 30 cm diameter
welds: tin soda + 5% silver, it's fine, if not, if you can, acetylene oxygen soda, phosphor copper rod: that's what we use for our refrigerating machines: it's more than 10 bars! , sometimes 30. Guys are impressive to see: they heat the red connection, remove the flame, place the rod, all by itself (correction: we inject a mixture of nitrogen with 5% hydrogen under low pressure during the welding: after , the inside of the tubes is nickel!)

Hello

A small plate exchanger costs about 300 euros
In this case you need a second pump to circulate water from the ball, but it breaks the stratification.
It is rather used for heat exchange with chlorinated pool water which must not circulate in any material

that's quite a "pipe". You have not deceived you? do 25m this coiled pipe can enter a 1000l tank (dims X = 1m 1m 1m X ???)? It remains the 1000 in the tank may well least once the hose to the intèrieur?

In fact you worry watering by rain being in front of your PC? you are connected to wifi on your terrace?
