The GREENEO project: An opportunity for all!

I come to let you know the GREENEO project ( www.greeneo.eu ), Project launched three months ago (on the basis of an idea that had been trotting in my head for a long time) in partnership with the association "Nature & Culture en Hautes Terres" (president Charles-Michael VINSON - www.nature-culture.eu), the DEWINTER Foundation (President Pierre DUPOND, www.fondation-dewinter.org), and Pierre MALICET, Engineer like me and who helps me to set up the GREENEO infrastructures.
The GREENEO project will be operational next September.
What is it about ?

Initially, an unequivocal statement: We face a considerable challenge, drastically improve in the next twenty years the environmental performance of our equipment and real estate products produced in large quantities since the nineteenth century, the beginning of the industrial era!

* Millions of single-family houses (13 000 000 in France alone)
* Millions of residential and office buildings
* Thousands of factories, supermarkets, shopping malls, warehouses
* Thousands of hospitals, clinics, hotels, restaurants
* Thousands of administrative buildings, schools, high schools, town halls,
* millions of cars, trucks, boats, and other means of transportation
* etc.

We have to agree, we have no chance to take up this challenge through a voluntary or artisanal approach!

To have a chance to succeed, the ecological approach must be a mass approach, so industrial and therefore business!

The GREENEO project is the 1er project proposing such an approach:

* Very narrow "market segments": the 1st taken over: "Existing single-family homes"
* A "Global approach": we address all the needs and resources of an individual house
* A "mass process" implemented by a network of consultants
o Powerful "IT tools" made available to GREENEO consultants in the network via the Internet
o An approach under quality control: GREENEO is also a "quality" program

* An international "target market": Thanks to the Internet, nothing prevents us from labeling consultants all over the world!

Our goal: Rather than adopting a punitive or regressive approach, and acting with prohibitions and moralizing obligations, as some propose, we want to build an exciting "win-win" ecological approach, involving human genius, and whose slogan is
"let's earn money and comfort while taking action for our planet" (Yes, it is possible!)

The GREENEO project is an ecological project (by definition), economic (considerable development of occupations related to the improvement of housing and environmental technologies), social (direct and indirect creation of thousands of jobs) and contributory spatial planning (our network is intended to develop in all our regions and contribute to the development of local economies)

GREENEO consultants, independent without being alone (thanks to the network spirit and the capitalization and sharing of experience), will find in this project many opportunities for professional development:
- Geographical development
- Development of the sectors
- Managerial development
Geographic development

To cover the 27 countries in Europe and beyond, we will have to train a large number of GREENEO consultants (our short term objective: to label 15 to 30 consultants per month, ie 600 consultants in two years

Development of the sectors

As soon as the “existing single-family homes” sector is operational, we will launch other sectors (residential buildings, then office buildings, then commercial premises, hotels and restaurants, hospitals and clinics, etc. etc. etc. )
In short ... The work will not be missed, and consultants already trained and wishing to change channels or prefer to support several sectors to limit geographically will be priority.

Managerial development

We are preparing the start of September (first training at the end of August), and I am currently providing centralized animation and development of the network (Pierre Malicet and I will provide the first trainings to the GREENEO method). But when the network grows, we will have to delegate the animation and the development of the network by creating a function of regional animator. This function, I intend to entrust to the consultants of the first hour who will have perfectly integrated GREENEO concepts and tools and who wish to take this dimension of regional animators.


CONCLUSION

The project is huge, the device we are implementing is based on the internet and this network of consultants. All good wishes are welcome.

My excuses,

I have not been clear!

I redo it in simpler,

1 - I designed a method
---> to identify in a single-family house all the means to reduce its "water and energy" bill (and therefore its consumption ...)
---> to finance the action plan thanks to subsidies and a loan calculated so that the monthly payment is lower than the savings

2 - I have computerized this method and made it accessible via the Internet

3 - I will now develop a two-level network:
---> GREENEO consultants who will implement the method for the benefit of the owners of individual houses
---> GREENEO-labeled service providers who will be called by the consultants to implement the actions selected

What am I selling? I sell to those interested in becoming "GREENEO consultants" training in this method and all the tools required for its implementation in a professional setting.

But this mercantile vision easier to explain is a little reductive.

In fact, I am tired of the beautiful speeches I have been hearing for over eighteen years on the ecological emergency as no action on the level of the problem is undertaken (these are neither photos taken by helicopter, nor some houses passive that will fundamentally change the situation!)

So I decided to set up an approach and a network (some people tell me that I "raise an army") to act in the short term (here and now!)

And as any punishment merits salary, I do it in a framework allowing all the actors of this project to gain equitably their life

I am not a specialist in home improvement
No more than an expert in technologies serving the environment

By cons, I have a great experience in strategy, organization and computerization of companies! And I developed several decision support software.

I therefore addressed the problem of the reconciliation of our structures with respect for the environment as I address the problems of my clients' processes, putting my know-how at the service of this cause.

I do not claim to have found the best solution, but as I did not see anybody propose one, I decided to give an answer.

We know that the only approaches that work are those that present a "win-win" relationship. This appears to be the case here.

As for paying for a training departure ... if the price is very reasonable (everything is relative you say me) I understand because it has the advantage of empowering people and attracting only those really interested.

New on this forum, here is my first message.

The Greeneo project appeals to me after browsing the site (I do not pretend to have read everything in detail). The concept sounds appealing, but I have many questions:
- What are the benefits that Greeneo-labeled providers would have, so probably to pay the industry, rather than working directly with individuals?
- What are the methods of remuneration of Greeneo consultants?
- Who ensures the commercial solicitation of customers? Is it Greeneo? Is it the providers (in this case, is there a contract with an anti-competition clause)? Is it the consultants?
- Who promotes the Greeneo "brand" in order to make it known? Are there any partnerships envisaged with public bodies such as Ademe, or even companies such as EDF for example?
- What are the training costs? What is the duration of this training? Where does it take place?
- What are the profiles expected to be a consultant?
- Individuals will they be receptive to this hallucinating offer: save more than what we spent, it can make believe a scam (people are suspicious, and are right to be, just read the newspapers! ). Do they have a guarantee as to the economy figures announced? Is there a charter on this?
- Who is responsible for financing the required investments?
- Does the individual pay the benefit to the consultant, who places the orders with the service providers or directly with the providers and in this case, how is the consultant paid?
- The economic model is probably built largely on tax aids to give profitability to investments. However, we know that a change in tax policy is enough for this to call into question an economic sector of this kind.
- How will the providers be labeled? By who ?
- Are consultants required to recruit providers?
- In the event of significant success, how will the workload be handled, given the current difficulty of finding craftsmen for the building?
- After the free audit performed by the consultant at the home, what prevents the individual from having the work done without the help of Greeneo? The important thing is to propose the solutions, not to implement them?

As many apparently, I find the principle excellent, but practical question that is what tells us that a GREENEO label is good. That the training is good and that it is not just a way to get the argetn not pseudo formations? Do you have references.

In any case good luck and good continuation the principle is excellent even if I have doubts.
