For my part, I prefer the parbolic concentrator, very easy to make yourself with a simple sheet metal.

Monocrystalline PVs withstand concentration factors of 100x but they must be cooled, and this reduces their lifespan.

Without going that far, a concentration of x3 to x10 is already fabulous!

Cooling is an asset that makes it possible to produce electricity and hot water with the same sensor. Better, the electricity production can be used to manage the cooling (solar pump).
