do not worry about it, the system will be obliged at some point to incorporate the concept of econology,
the question is WHEN.
because right now we're going straight into the wall.
we continue to row as we attack the cliff.
sometimes I wonder what politicians are thinking. ( off topic)
me I want a targa 911 pocket (convertible from the 90s), but only if it consumes water, in addition to the 500m2 of pv and solar thermal on my roof.

christophe you're half right
the impression that it gives is that the ecilogy is a fried bobo thing ...
in any case ecology reinforces inequalities, there are on the one hand the rich "who move their ass" and on the other side these "poor bastards" who destroy the planet ....
this is certainly what our government thinks, since it provides practically only tax reductions to reward the nice rich and introduces taxes to punish the poor polluters ...
remember, at the start ecological ideas advocated happiness for all and an egalitarian society ... we are far from it ...

Subsidies, of course it is the wealthiest who benefit, such as tax havens and tax loopholes.
And the bastards of the poor who pollute with their old cars are generally tenants and will not install solar energy when they cannot afford it and they are not at home.
Last night there was still a good show on planet earth. It is obvious that the only thing that advances the schmilblic is money, money, money and it always goes in the same place, and very little for renewable energies. The International Energy Agency has planned the construction of 1400 nuclear power plants in the world within 20 years (not sure of the 20 years but 1400 power plants yes) to meet the needs of humanity !!!. A priori, the concern is not really oriented towards the development of renewable energies.
Regarding the installation yourself, not everyone is competent and handyman, therefore forced to go through the artisans + grants sector.
Do not dream it is not tomorrow that something will change.
Unfortunately, as long as there are oil, gas, coal and nuclear power plants, the share of renewable energies will be minimal.

Hello everyone,
For taxes it is very false since the tax credit is paid in cash, in principle ... because the reliability of payment of the state leaves something to be desired.
For the vision opposing "rich" and "poor", it is neo Karl Marx. It will also be necessary to explain to me the limit between the two ...
Any modest family, instead of buying a new car for 20 Euros on credit, can keep their old titine and put the money in the PV which will finance themselves over 000 years and bring back afterwards.
It is also undeniably ecological.
Currently more than half of the purchases of new vehicles are not technically justified to replace "the old".
Knowing also that there is no worse financial investment than an automobile.

Look, this reminds me of something - a hint on other pages of the forum...
Two or three observations on all exchanges on the theme from the start:
1) Overbilling: even excluding "renewable energies", you cannot compare the cost of materials and the price of the estimate of the finished installation carried out by a craftsman. I made an estimate for the arrangement of the access in front of the house. Finally, I did the work myself, with only "noble" materials - I feel that I will still be called a bourgeois - natural stone, etc ... It cost me 3 times less (so that the estimate, it was synthetic stone slabs, reconstituted) ... Ditto for the transformation of attic into a room for the son ... The ratio of 5 to 1 seems to me a good multiplier for moderately complex works ( since in the end I did everything myself, always taking the "top" supplies).
2) It is, however, correct that certain terms are used by marketing such as "cowardly": "solar", "renewable energy", "organic", "tax credit", "up to xx% reduction of your bill for this or that "... Sad to say that it works terribly !!! That's why I try to spend a little time on some forums in order to share my experience.
3) A rectification too: for renewable energies, in France, it is a question of "tax credits": whoever does not pay taxes is reimbursed the sum. Small nuance.
4) Small only. So as not to make me yell unnecessarily: he still has to be able to release the purchasing power to finance the other half, we agree. What we really have to protest against is that these investments may well be often - but not always - "profitable" in the medium or long term (7 years, 10 years, 12 years ...), in addition to be beneficial for the planet, we must start by putting a hell of a lot on the table, part of which (tax credit) is reimbursed one year later, and the rest pays for itself over 7 years, 10 years or 12 years. ..
5) But so as not to leave all the field to the "yaka": there remains, for 2/3 of consumers, a large room for choice. How many people "prefer" to be tempted by the latest model of a certain brand - "hey, the new Picasso is not bad", etc. - rather than driving with a less visible vehicle and betting the difference on equipment? more energy efficient. Only, the "yaka" will prefer to bitch about the government, or the other, or the bourgeois, or the bobo, or the poor why not ....
Go ahead, yell at me !!! Yes, as I think that we must not cut down on fossil fuels, we must change mentalities rather than attacking, in vain (of time), "governments". When people really want that to change, but they cannot, they will perhaps vote massively green and what yesterday was impossible will become so? Not all either, do not dream ... But one or two things ... We can dream.
As long as the great great majority votes for people who promise to shave them for free, complaining against governments is like pissing on a violin!
