Hello, I am making my modest contribution to your problem, at the beginning of last year I was faced with the same problem, a pavilion from the 70s equipped with a magnificent oil boiler which was reaching the end of its life, I was offered an air-water cap for replace my old boiler for the modest sum of 16000 euros, after having spent a long time on the forums I took the plunge for a pellet boiler, very simple all stupid for 7500 euro put down, now after a winter of heating I do not regret my purchase of course the price of pellet boilers is still higher than an oil boiler, the pellet storage can be a problem it's true, but as it was said above the price of caps is really abused, my thinking at the time was as follows in how many years I was going to amortize my investment ....
good luck to you

Storage upstairs, two remarks:

- if it is a standard slab, it supports 350 kg / m², but it would be necessary, if you are going to an automated storage (automatic extraction with screw), a silo with V-shaped bottom, so you concentrate up to 1 ton / m² !!! Of course, you can scatter as we did for grain, then "collect" in a hopper every 15 days ... But it's gone for 20 years, it could become boring!

- make sure that your delivery person can blow it up; there will be cumulative distance + height difference; be careful that in the end he does not have to put pressure on you so that he does not shatter half of the pellets.

Hello,

if you spend on PV by selling the surplus to edf you will get a quadruple good deal :P Parts and accessories
: Arrow: it will not cost you any contribution (help and simple financial arrangements will be offered)
: Arrow: your fuel oil will no longer generate CO2
: Arrow: you will put the nuclear in the closet
: Arrow: you will derive from all this a surplus of guaranteed income for 20 years by EDF (from the 7th year in general)

I see there a good solution which satisfies a set of values and the compromise to be made in any case because it is true that absolute perfect products there are none.
Even if at the moment the equipment has a slightly high price, let it be the best even in the meantime you will not get a bcp lower price for a long time because it is the largest market over the 10 years to come up.

cantarossini, are you of course, as you say here, not to be a PV pro?

Reading you, I'm starting to doubt it ... seriously!

Regarding your 4 points of argument, I will take the first 3 apart in 30 seconds:

1) If it were that easy: pkoi not everyone has one eh? And you do you have any?

2) What ratio of fuel oil and pv ink? There it is at the limit of bonimensonge !!

3) The good joke: the profitability of PV is only made possible thanks to nuclear power. Move along, there's nothing to see!

4) Okay: but it's finance, not ecology ...

€ 1 invests in PV is 6 times less profitable on energy savings than € 1 invests in insulation!

It would be high time to prevent PV mounting on houses that are not up to standards in terms of insulation!

In my case, only one bank was able to finance the PV with a subsidized loan.
The loanable amount is capped at 20.000 € over 9 years .
My estimate being € 21.500, I renegotiated with the installer who reduced his estimate to € 20.000.
The installation will therefore be fully funded but I will have costs not yet quantified (the EDF connection estimated between 400 and 1500 €).
A financial package is never easy ... :?
