Hello,

In the meantime the answers I will probably not have from these sellers.
Do you think that we can exploit this wind. Measurements made at 4 meters.
My goal power of 200 W hour as often as possible with purchased or self-built machine.

Typical wind swirls with 2,5 peaks times the average speed, all very variable over well under an hour.
It could be worse, factor 5 or 10 !!

This corresponds to a fairly regular wind on the sea or at altitude, above all the neighboring landforms to more than 500m distance.
The whirlwinds give a meager sample of these regular winds very much above!
During the Christmas storm 1999, these winds, streams streams, were 11Km altitude at 500Km / h! with swirl samples on the ground, 180Km / h less than the second !!!
My houses have kept damage !!

This explains that the beautiful big wind turbines with great finesse are placed only on the sea or the highest of hills or mountains with nothing, their size, which disturb them more than 1 Km to the round, creating plenty of whirlwinds that destroy their efficiency and performance !!
The wind swirls rotating, does not respect the good impact on the blades that lose all lift !!
In windsurfing, I have often experienced, impossible to climb properly against the mistral wind more approaching the coast, and it takes a good experience not to call for help a few hundred meters from the coast , by force mistral 5 to 7 !!

In your case a wind turbine with fine blades will work as badly as a rudimentary wind turbine with big blade without lift !!
At my heart, the Robiplan on econology should even walk better!

The blades with lift (like an airplane wing) lose much of this lift and so it is better to large plates pushed stupidly by the wind on their surface without the booster factor of the lift, in a very swirling wind close to strong disturbances.
The Robiplan is an example.
Another is the wind turbine with sails or plates pushed by the wind and coming back against the wind and parallel to the wind (in my opinion better than sophisticated vertical wind turbines).

It seems to me that many conventional wind turbines forget the problem of vortices near the ground, with disastrous results!
The only solution is to put them on top of a very high mat, much higher than the neighboring heights (taken over distances much larger than their size, like a hill of 100m, which requires more than 500m or more than 100m from high to less than 500m) to have a fairly steady wind.

This is a physicist's opinion that you can concretely check by looking at the whirlpools in the water behind a bridge stack that turn on more than 5 times the width of the stack !!!

So the wind turbine must be insensitive to rapid changes in direction and wind force.

Well, not very happy about it.

Are you doing a plank at the Almanare?

In my area, a place without a hill is almost impossible to find. It goes up and it goes down all the time. Even on the plateau Larzac or Aubrac.

From home, I see a windmill park. It is on the Lévézou. They are brooms. The feet of the wind turbines that I see are at 840 meters altitude, others to 1000 meters see more. The blades must tickle the 960 meters for some and more than 1150 meters for others. The wind speed must be impressive.
They turn almost all the time. They have not yet fallen, however one day to another we will see a good parterre.
In 1999, there had been a subsidence of the jet stream in the hollow of the depression, it seems to me.

Summing up, if you want to get the max performance in low layer flats daisies, it is better to turn to a robiplan type machine vertcal axis.

Hello,

I am looking for the rare beast ready made.
I ask myself a question, I have two inverters stamped operating range wind turbine 10.8 VDC to 30VDC.

What nominal wind turbine voltage do you recommend?

I hesitate between the futurenergy and a Chinese?

In Chinese, I found this:

Given the fairly fine blades, the yield will weaken in turbulent wind not far from the ground.
Everything is possible with the Chinese, very good and horrible, but not a trial so scam, as for the first wind enough Chinese!

A manager in France can fall on him if problem, unless it goes bankrupt!

So hard, hard, hard !!!!

No info on the behavior of their blades in a wind especially swirling ?????
Only weak wind with a big dimension but no info on the yield in the whirlpools close to the ground !!!

I do not know more, but it is a real complex problem, which is hardly considered, (it forces large wind turbines to be very high, isolated, far apart, which reduces their performance at Km2) , very clear effect in windsurfing with Mistral (the closer we get to the edge, the more difficult it is!) and I have the impression that all wind turbines copy themselves forgetting this problem that requires fundamental research.

If the wind is really swirling, (a weather vane or small flag, very often turns or gales separated by calm) behind large obstacles at a distance less than 5 times their height, it is necessary that the wind turbine happens to follow these rotations of the wind as fast as the wind, to keep about the right incidence on the blades. A big wind turbine has too much inertia.

A rudimentary wind turbine with vertical axis could be as effective provided that it does not have too fine blades, which use too much the gain of the lift of the wind, which is very lost in the whirlpools !!!!

You have to look for scientific studies on whirlpools and wind turbines !!

Ask ROBIPLAN on econology their opinion and experience.

A basic course on wind turbine and propeller to assimilate well (wind turbines based on the lift like an airplane wing)!
http://www.energieplus-lesite.be/energi ... _16662.htm
http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/A%C3%A9rodynamique
With both difficulties, twisting towards the end of the blades (it indicates the speed of the blades compared to that of the wind) and the stall cowherd which with fast swirling wind destroys the efficiency of the wind turbine.

the whirlpools behind a wind turbine pose great problems to those behind reducing their performance:
http://documents.irevues.inist.fr/bitst ... sequence=1
At 6 times the diameter or the height we lose 10% while the vortices are well weakened then closer, nothing!

An original wind turbine patent with better performance at low speed with information on other types !!!!

A wind turbine that explodes:

and an original version of sailing boat type:

who will not walk in a fast swirling wind !!

Finally an answer for wind turbine in wind near the swirling ground realization of the previous patent:

Another wind turbine to carefully check the claims ???

Another optimized with test on a simple version to read:

A concrete realization by someone with no neighborhood whirlpool problem:

same for this one serious enough, French, which explains that the hills and trees are to be avoided:
