Methanogenic power of waste oils and greases

by Orel » 25/09/06, 15:25

Hello everybody

I read the post it of this site for a little while and I see that a lot of specialists are connected.

As a result, I was wondering if any of you would have any references regarding the methanogenic potential of used oils and / or organic fats?

Thank you in advance

Incidentally, if I could have the% Mat. Dryer / Mat. Gross as well as the% Mat. Organic / Mat. Dry, it would be royal : Cheesy:

THANK YOU

"% Dry / wet matt" about oils? I have trouble understanding the question.

We had just opened a similar subject so I close this one and invite you to post on this one: energies-renewable / biogas-methanization-and-power-methanogenic-t2338.html

There are already some answers to your questions.

For the oils I heard that it was "too rich" for the bacteria so it couldn't stand them (at least when the oils are not diluted ...)

By cons I found this on the net:

Biogas production:
1 UGB (livestock unit) produced 1-2 m³ biogas / day
1 ton of fresh pork slurry product 25 m³ biogas
1 ton of used grease produced 800 m³ of biogas
