Hi everybody
While watching the videos, they chose 8 wheels to house the motors (8 in total), the choice to divide the size of the motor by their multiplication did not seem abhorrent to me since he wanted an electric car to make records, c It is also true that the loss in engine performance is multiplied by 8, but in the end it must be kif kif I think.
each motor is directly connected to the hub and I think we are doing this to be able to pass the maximum power to the ground when starting. Imagine a single, large engine that passes the power to 2 or even 4 wheels. the results a nice burn at startup.
not to mention the loss due to the transfer of power to the wheel box bridge ect ...
no in their concept, we wanted to make a super car that goes over 400 km / h and that smokes any car, but on a concrete everyday application 2 engines must be sufficient for current use and even I think it there would be power to spare.
the problem is always the same, autonomy.

volvo's "REcharge concept" is not bad either, it is closer to reality and the car can also be used as a generator !!!
