On the other hand at future Energy it is only indicated the power and not the voltage (1kw). The generator is sold under the displayed wind. Is it a 24v?
http://www.futurenergy.co.uk/turbine.html
It is priced at 290 euros and that would mean that at this French winder, for the same price I will only have 12 volts 660w.

So what do you advise me? . If that of 1kw for the same price as the 600 is a 24 volts I will have to charge two 12v batteries in series.
Universal motor in wind generator
Ok, so I'll go for a 24v 1kw.

The 48 is the same price, but I'm going to have to buy 4 12v batteries and frankly it's not for nothing hello anxiety. The 24 will be fine if I buy it.

Hello
The alternator presented in the link is well sealed.
I had the opportunity to disassemble mine because there was a friction noise inside (probably a deformation following a violent impact on the ground on the rotor) It is necessary to put back the seal in paste (silicone type) if we want to redo the sealing.
Be careful with the 48V generator! The start of production is done at a much higher speed (380 rpm instead of 240 in 12V)
What amazes me with the manufacturer's curves is that the performance is too good on paper and that the same propeller is used for each version!
Mamo should be able to give us his opinion on the real performance of his machine in average wind (measured at the rotor level)
A+

Hi Darwenn
I bought a 12V alternator
But now that I have an mppt controller that can absorb up to 120V in AC input and DC output in 12, 24 or 48V, I think the 24V model would suit me better.
Now, a 24V must produce sooner in direct charge of 12V batteries, it remains to check if the intensity does not rise too quickly, at the risk of blowing the alternator (the maximum intensity in 24V must be half that in 12V at equal power)

Well, here is my 24v 1kw generator is ordered, I got it for 20 euros more (312 euros) by ordering it in France, it was more practical for communication and it is guaranteed for two years in case of problems. After telephone contact took with the company, it will be sent to me tomorrow so I should receive it this week. After all my unsuccessful experiences trying to find a good homemade generator, I believe that this is by far the best solution. I hope I did not make a mistake and that it will work very well, the fall is coming, it would be a shame I will test it with my 3 blades and 5 blades, for the mast everything is ready and pivot on ball bearing this time, there was only one. Then I will only have to take care of the power side, storage and distribution on my home network

For Looping and Mamo who have the same model, according to you can I use a multiplication as I do now (a multiplier of 3 per pulley / toothed belt) or connect the propeller directly to the shaft ?. A multiplier that can perhaps allow me to produce at a lower wind speed depending on the cogging of the generator + multiplier torque.
