Methanization

by ericjoly » 12/05/06, 15:48

Hello, I'm working on an energy saving project.

I am looking for a substitute for the power of my steam generators. At present, these are powered by gas. These two steam generators deliver around 25 tones of steam per hour. My question is to know what are the possibilities to share the gas supply with new means and thus generate savings. I was thinking of methanation but also of wood boilers, ....

Can tell me where to go to find specific information in these areas. (excluding ADEME)

You will find some info / links on these pages:

1) googlesearch? q = biogas

2) googlesearch? q = biomethanization

But considering your steam production I doubt that a biogas installation is easily feasible due to the raw material deposit ...

Otherwise here is a good site on the question http://www.lebiogaz.info/
and the magazine http://www.energie-plus.com/
