Wind: building a vertical axis wind turbine from A to Z

Renewable energies except solar electric or thermal (seeforums dedicated below): wind turbines, energy from the sea, hydraulic and hydroelectricity, biomass, biogas, deep geothermal energy ...

We look forward to seeing you!
Can you pass me the pdf, I put my personal email in my profile.

I live in the plain and I must have exceptional wind statistics.

See you soon.

Bonjour.
I don't understand your confusion!
If it is to chat or do business with a particular member, use the PM.

If the file is interesting, it is certainly it for everyone…
Make it available on the forum, for the benefit of all.
econology just created something special for that.
Use it! PLEASE!

Bonsoir.

My apologies, Mr. Gegyx.
(ah, do not hit, the hammer hurts! : Cheesy: )
It was still necessary to know. It's practical, little forum have these kinds of things.

No need to apologize, but strive to do well, more carefully.
I don't type.
It was Christophe who gave me this avatar (because of the x of gegyx?).
But ultimately I like it; I like working with metal; those are the genes; grandfather and young father were blacksmiths.

Good finally, it is put this document! It was not that complicated after all!
Especially since this Pub is still on the Internet:

What a story... : Lol:

I may have a few hundred technical doc files on my hard drive, so I have trouble knowing where I took them ... (and even to classify them!)

I understand you, apart from stainless steel, I like working with metals (I would have to learn to weld, but I think that is not the subject ...)

No it was because of the "YX" since it is the same suffix ...
Well we could have put a chromosome too :D

Otherwise stupid question: Gegyx does that have something to do with me?

very interesting this document
The biggest model with strong air interesting 6kw for a wind of 54 km / h..but it is 8m in diameter by 3 high, it will not go on my house

: Cry:

Now the price ??? we launch the auction?

Vertical axis wind turbine

by To do » 26/07/06, 01:09

Hello,
Sorry not to follow your reasoning: electricity can in no case be used to heat, domestic hot water or a house ... It is the worst use! Solar thermal collectors are much more efficient, for a much lower investment.
First think:
- heat = solar (and wood which is stored solar)
- motor, light = electricity = wind turbine (better than PV, but the two can be complementary)
- kitchen = gas (fermentation, digester)
- transport = biofuels (+ Pantone, it's even better)
And above all, control of consumption: insulation, low-consumption lamps (or LED), economical devices, daily gestures (no devices on standby, a sweater rather than 2 degrees, etc ...).
That said, GUAL Industrie manufactures very beautiful vertical wind turbines, called "STATOEOLIENS", to see at
