His defeat is a blow for the Head of State, who had made it a symbol of his desire to "break" with past policies, particularly in terms of the environment.

Would this be Sarko's excuse for nothing more to jerk off in terms of the environment?? :|

Alain Juppé, overtaken by the affair of the fictitious jobs of the RPR at the town hall of Paris at the time when Jacques Chirac was the mayor of the capital, had been sentenced on January 30, 2004 to 18 months suspended sentence and ten years of ineligibility.

This condemnation seemed to deal a fatal blow to his political career. But after a brief exile in Quebec, he had regained his town hall in October, after an early election.

Needless to say, being a politician is great... we owe nothing to anyone, not even to "justice"... : Shock:

There is a brilliantly elected politician in Paris with 65,83% who is a potential candidate and recognized in ecology by all...

Claude goasguen (who is not against the participation of Airbus, to bring ice cubes to the North Pole to replace those that are melting...)

I like sterile speeches. Ecology, economy and above all econology must go through each of us; why look for lice in politicians; when we see the number of people traveling by car (alone) -> a car is 1200 kg,
a person 70 kg, so we move 5% of "intelligent" matter for a HUGE energy expenditure. Is it up to the politicians to let it be known? ...

Aren't we locked in a straitjacket where we are told that the car is freedom? yes I admit it for the 70s. But today . To see this profusion of pubs for all brands of cars!!! One last eloquent thing:
a 207 weighs the same as the late 505 (family)!!! Why ?
for sacrosanct security; imagine a diane (citroen) with a modern 207 engine: we would be at 1 or 2L per 100, right?

Indeed, your remarks are not sterile, but off topic in this subject "Alain Juppé - resignation", simply.
