on the other hand, one thing that I find bizarre is that the medium temperature heat pumps have quite high power, which would make the heat pumps recommended mainly for houses which are very energy intensive because for a medium sized house located on the coast dunkirk (with cold temperatures but not particularly freezing, it very rarely freezes) the smallest pump (medium temperature) risks being oversized in relation to the needs.

What do you call medium temperature heat pump?
Are you talking about the hot water production temperature?
For a well insulated house within 100m², you need a heat pump around 10kW.
Heat pumps producing water at 45 ° C are not uncommon, but those that do more are and they cost a lot more.
If it is a little too powerful, you have to put the ECS on the heat pump.
It is especially important to avoid putting a 30kW heat pump on an installation that requires 10 and vice versa.
If you need 10kW and the heat pump provides 15kW, that's okay.
Refrigerator units do not like short cycles (more than 10 starts per minute), nor do they like to run for more than 18h / 24h.
The underfloor heating is the heat pump's best friend because the leaving water temperature is below 50 ° C and there is inertia.
Replacing boilers with a heat pump are easier to do if the existing heating is with a water outlet below 50 ° C.
If this is not the case, the radiators will have to be changed.
Most of the Pacs are sized for optimum performance up to + 7 ° C outside, below the reduced announced COP. To make the thermal balance of a house, take a minimum exterior temperature of -7 ° C for an interior temperature of + 19 ° C.
If you buy a 10kW heat pump it will have a COP of 3 up to + 7 ° C and below that the COP will drop. This is why the underground outdoor exchanger (geothermal energy) is more interesting. As the temperature of the earth remains stable and above + 10 ° C, the Cop also remains stable and at the best of its performance.
