Clearly you have not had any electricity or energy lessons:
Watts unit of power (concrete example power is the flow of energy that you provide to climb a hill on a bicycle at a given speed)
It is equal to the product of the voltage by the flow of electric current or current in amperes !!
Practical on 12 Volts battery, it is necessary for 1Watt to output 1/12 = 0,083 A
1A then gives 12Watts

on 220Volts sector you need 1/220 = 0,00454A
1A gives 220Watts
1KW gives 1000/220 = 4,545Amps
see :
http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Watt

By climbing at a speed of 1m / s vertically a weight of 75kg (my weight) on earth (acceleration of gravity 9,81m / s2) we obtain a horsepower or 735,5 Watts of power !!
see
http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cheval-vapeur

Concretely the voltage is analogous to the water height of a dam and the electric current is analogous to the flow of water falling from the dam and the power is analogous to the destructive effects per unit of second at the bottom of the fall of this water !!!

P = power in Watt
U = voltage in Volt
I = intensity in Amperes
R = resistance in Ohm

P = U x I
U = R x I
P = R x I²
P = U² / R

Ex: the starting motor of a turboprop absorbs 1500A under 28 volts, that gives us a power of 42kw ...

Uh ... sorry but most people have no knowledge of electricity: they haven't learned. Or if they have learned they have often forgotten everything.

The day they have an accident, electrocution or fire, they regret not being interested in the technological environment that conditions our life.
Reason for answering when they ask questions.
