Borloo electric cars: a "gadget" for 6 out of 10 French people
PARIS - Nearly six in ten French people (59%) believe that the aid for the purchase of an electric car announced by the Minister of Ecology, Jean-Louis Borloo, constitutes "a gadget" and that it will not have "that little effect on the development of electric vehicles in France, according to a barometer published on Wednesday.
For their part, 37% of respondents see "an effective means" in the system of assistance for the purchase of electric vehicles which will allow the first 100.000 buyers to benefit from a premium of 5.000 euros, while 4% do not comment. not, according to the BVA-BFM-La Tribune-Avanquest economy barometer.
Skeptical respondents are in the majority among right-wing supporters (51%), among left-wing supporters (64%) and among those who say they are "without partisan proximity" (59%).
They are 46% to see it "an effective means" among right-wing supporters, 32% among left-wing supporters and 34% among those who do not have partisan proximity.
By socio-professional category, the CSP + (senior executives, liberal professions or intermediate professions) are 59% to think that this system of assistance "will have little effect", and the CSP- (employees and workers) 63%.
In addition, the morale of the French fell in October, according to this barometer (-8 index points). Some 62% of those polled say they are "rather less confident" in the future of the economic situation in France, against 31% "rather more confident", 6% "neither more nor less", while 1% "do not express an opinion. not".
