It depends on your definition of "their average power" ...

It seems to me that the 2800W inverter and the NiCad charger must be controlled together: when the batteries are charged or the charger consumes less than production, the surplus is injected into the network.

Indeed, that does not change much.

By the way, the optimal angle of the panels for your location and your azimuth is 34 ° and not 45 °. It saves 40 kWh per year : Mrgreen:

Well, yes, hack, I'm serious and I know the business well ...

Besides, Macro chooses to do as I suggested. It connects to the EDF network for injection!

The Nicad facility should be used as little as possible for its performance.

I also do not recommend using the injection inverter and the ChampPV / Nicad DC / DC charge regulator at the same time. They could annoy each other.

It will be a great source of help if the network goes down. I once considered making this kind of editing at home with the Nicad pack from CATHI.

But it is quite expensive for a very limited use. A generator is also efficient

My carpenter advised me to put OSB panels on the rafters, then cleats to make an air gap between the OSB and the panels because of the heat under the panels..Question is not it is not wise to pass under the panels a network of pipes (PEHD PE) to circulate glycol (or other) and heat domestic water via a small exchanger ???

For Remundo. No, I do not reinject it into the EDF network, which is too complicated and too expensive ... Already, with just € 420 in electricity savings per year, it will take 8 years to amortize the purchase of the kit ...

Well, the warmer the panels, the lower the yield, so I don't know if it's good to cool them with hot water ...

We would have to look at their yield vs T ° curve.

Well, the warmer the panels, the lower the yield, so I don't know if it's good to cool them with hot water ...
The goal is to cool them, so certainly not with hot water.

It does not prevent wanting to recover the heat ...
There are achievements of this kind (and even mixed panels integrating the two functions in a single panel), but the production of heat takes place at low temperature (30 ° max) insufficient to produce domestic hot water. The recommended use is generally pool heating, which in addition provides a large capacity thermal buffer, while in summer the hot water tank will exceed 40 ° before noon leaving the photovoltaic without cooling at the hottest time.

Otherwise, for cooling, there is the system OPAL from Remundo, but for a 3kW installation, it seems a bit oversized ...
