You talk about the GTI of your solar panels.
But you're talking about a 10.8v 28v. It's not solar that ....

Your original ista blades turn no better, because the magnets stick the caracasse of the same winding. Rewinding does not change anything: to start the rotation.

I have several GTIs.
10.8V 28V
And 28V 52 V.
The GTI who released me yesterday was connected to the panels.

For the wind turbine, I did a test on a powerjack of 10. 8 VDVC - 28 VDC.

For the blades, with my tinker and Missouri blades it starts without any problem. With the Ista, nothing. They must be thrown by hand !!!

Condolences : Cry:
The shims for airX can readjust the ista blades.
It's the same size.

Almost everything is in English, learn first, because essential!

Then, you have to learn a lot of basic electronics, otherwise, without understanding, impossible to make a valid system, better than those of the trade.

You also need to know how to make electrical measurements and apply scientific methods, otherwise you will burn stuff.

It is also necessary to know the min and max voltages of the alternator in real wind conditions, even extreme, because the voltage can be very high at high speed;

I would put a basic relay to deviate quickly on resistance with adjustable voltage threshold without any electronics to resist any huge voltage.

The problem with commercial electronics is that little is known about their characteristics and details of construction.
http://www.solar-kit.com/WebRoot/StoreL ... 25ENFR.pdf
is certainly more protected than a solar.

CC interface
The CC interface is here to protect the Windmaster
500,
and should provide the following:
Protection against voltage peaks;
• Surge protection, max
150VCC (*);

Disconnect switch (If applicable).
(*) Mechanical protection or electric against
overvoltages can be integrated into the wind turbine

In my opinion 150V is not high enough.

it's even less here 50V, very insufficient on the AP box !!

Solar does not give as variable voltages as the alternator and I would never have put it on this alternator with voltage 4 times higher than before!

Well, I did the test with a GTI 28V - 52 V.
The results stick:
1.5 A for 48 Volts.
The hanging couple is huge in my personal opinion.

Dedeleco, it was the wind turbine that shot the GTI.
It burned in normal operation on the panels.
A wire has come loose on the transformer. He burnt me the fuse and a flashing diode.

Ah well, difficult to guess.

For a wire to unsolder, it is badly made junk soldered in a hurry, without care.
Did the solder not wet the wire properly?

Alas yes, poorly done like everything else.
On this one, there was even a track on the 220 Vac line cut with the cutter. They are too strong !!!

On another, the wire from a coil at the solder was cut. Too strong too.

On another without voltage on the low voltage input 22 to 60 VAC, I have a residual consumption of 60-70 VA.

And all this with the mention QC passed !!!!

I stop there ...

Whether the GTI comes from France, England or Lapland it is made in the PRC (China)
If the GTI refuses to operate (HS)
Go to the raw method, direct water heater (resistance mode) or battery on regulator.

dslé for the GTI

So it was the solar GTI 28-52V that dropped out.
If your panels were assembled in series, 2 (series) * 14V empty each 28V.
By passing them in parallel you can always use your GTI 10.8-28v on it. At max watt equal.

If the panel has 28V when empty, especially not: : Idea: although with a 24V-12V transformer, see a 220V-110V same result.
Edit: whatever I say may be bullshit. A DC coil is an electro magnet. It is a converter not a transformer.

They are in parallel.
It's impressive anyway 3 months and splash !!!
So now I hesitate to a Mastervolt Windmaster or Soladin and you know what.

I will open another topic on GTI.
