I complete for peleton: we always say for high fall! , but everything is relative, the weaker the power the more the flap is interesting at less enormous height than what we see at the EDF

I do not see a spiral turbine (hydrodynamic screw), but a system of vanes rotating on chain sprockets.

The current hydrodynamic screws are equipped with at least two turns of revolution, but generally three.

In France they are struggling to establish themselves because of an uncertain yield because of a very large multiplier, and a high cost.
But the efficiency is practically constant over the entire speed range

They nevertheless bring a certain interest thanks to a reduced civil engineering cost.
