Storage of electrical, thermal and H2 energies (CNRS)

Renewable energies except solar electric or thermal (seeforums dedicated below): wind turbines, energy from the sea, hydraulic and hydroelectricity, biomass, biogas, deep geothermal energy ...

Hello Chatelot16

I think it will interest more than one! do you have a builder address? For this type of material, I know Parker and Tema (www.tema.hr), but I have not asked for the prices yet.

the manufacturer is alxion very short! a real French manufacturer ... it still exists
http://www.alxion.com/products/stk-alternators/

there are lots of commercial wind turbines that are equipped by these alternator

I would like to be cheaper because I'm stingy ... but there is quite a way to make good wind with these alternator alxion whose quality is sure!

alxion manufactures only the rotor and the stator ... it's up to the wind turbine manufacturer to make the shaft and the bearing: it allows to put bearings as big as you want to support the propeller with a long lifetime ... unlike Chinese alternators that have too small a bearing

in my case I even found an architecture that allows to change the bearing at the top of the mast without disassembling the wind turbine ... a mounting or rescue disc brake can support the propeller shaft while dismount all the rest

we misunderstood, so I said:

the question was to know if there are manufacturers or if it was necessary to tinker with it yourself, in which case, as far as I'm concerned, so much spin at alxion!

alxion is clearly the best provider available

to do better you have to do more than tinker

bonsoir,

chatelot:

when the idea of moving directly from the mechanical energy to the heat, it is the most stupid idea of the century

to store the heat easily it should be limited to 100 ° C hot water: it makes a return of carnot shabby

it's good I see you read the links provided;) by christophe ...

I'm number one in stupid ideas so I'd be at least number one some : Mrgreen: : Mrgreen: : Mrgreen:

It is true that I do not master carnot but, but good idea that Apple has patent exactly the same system, it reassures me we are at least a few to be stupid.

quote:

The patent application details a mechanism which is described as "on-demand generation of electricity from stored wind energy" and wherein the rotational energy created by the turbine is used to generate heat, which is then stored in a fluid of "low heat capacity".

source: the Znet link that I put above ...

;) ...

So keep cool chatelot keep it cool or take it easy;) .....

perso I would stay on the note of lessdewatt much more open and constructive;) ...

But as the reconversion of this heat stored in electricity to a poor performance, the interest is not absolutely obvious.
