Renewable energies: when we want, we can!

Renewable energies except solar electric or thermal (seeforums dedicated below): wind turbines, energy from the sea, hydraulic and hydroelectricity, biomass, biogas, deep geothermal energy ...

Getting back to the subject:

According to this report, in 2009 renewable energy was the main source of energy in Latvia and Sweden; however, it represented 36% of the energy produced in Latvia against 34% for Sweden. Latvia's goal is to reach a share of renewable energy representing 40% of its energy mix in 2020.

What percentage of renewable energy in France has been forecast for the next few years, and how much could reasonably be done?

For Sweden and Latvia, easy and logical, it's hydraulics because they have the right geography.

look at my post here

for electricity (not total energy) we make about 80TWh renewable out of 550 or 14.5% currently
the Grenelle 2020 target is 150TWh or 27% at constant consumption

but if we reduce the consumption at the same time (therefore the total production) by stopping nuk plants, the% will obviously be higher. and this is in my opinion the only way to significantly increase the share of renewables: reducing consumption.
you have to go back to an 80's electric conso.
after all, it is not a return to trees, as those for whom decrease is a bad word would like to say.
to decrease when we have gone beyond reason is reasonable.

Subject zabotage!
The goal is to show that everything is possible, when the government wants it, in terms of energy!

And much lower demand / population ...

This does not mean that nothing should be done in more populous countries! Each fossil kWh saved is a victory!

Dirk Pitt sabotages the solution that consumes the free by never talking about the free sun:
free summer sun stored for winter like in Drake landing:
https://www.econologie.info/share/partag ... mrk29Z.pdf

Christophe turned the crank all the way !!!!!
Hat !!

We will end up putting a solar meter on our roofs and consumption will not decrease, but it will be CO2 free and nuclear with the summer sun wasted now !! !!

And nuclear and its fossil fuels for heating will be replaced by renewable !!

We don't care about consumption calculations as long as we are warm in winter !!

+1, when you think about it, there are quite a few small "very autonomous" islands

And presto, let's go again !!!

Is it so hard to admit that:

a) we can have as much comfort by consuming less (what is the advantage of a light that we leave on - except to dispense with the effort of turning it off! What is the advantage of leaving so much What is the point of high-consumption devices when there are A +++?)

b) we can produce: PV, wind turbines, micro-power plants, etc ... Not all of them. But we are a number. How does that bother?

c) we can add all the solutions. Why oppose them? PV: yes, CESI: yes, underground storage: yes [when will u do this?]; isolate: yes; pellets: yes; wood: yes ...

If everyone takes one or two measurements [they have a choice! Why this idea of "unique ecological thinking"?], It is possible to reduce dependence on EdF / TotalFinaElf by 25% without any suffering. Just an effort [turn off, buy A +++, invest 17 in PV rather than buying this or that, etc ...] ... And with that, we can shut down our old nuclear power plants right away ... And afterwards, we can progress on "heavier" (banks of offshore wind turbines, anaerobic digestion / cogeneration station, BBC renovation, etc ...]

Instead, are we gonna gut each other? I leave you. Tired !
