Judicious question. It is the tank where domestic hot water is stored, the water heater, what. Generally, it is equipped with an electrical resistance which heats the water with the night current With the sun, that heats during the day ...

Hi guys

super interesting your pipes! but has he ever had any problems with his municipality or
any administration concerning the "look" of the installation ??

I am at 100 ° / ° for the use of solar and more generally
with alternative energies, but I know from experience that the administration can
be boring when she wants.

Do you need to make a request?
please

I am fortunate to live in a large isolated building out of sight. Since everything had to be redone, including the roof, I treated the entire southern section in solar. There was no problem with the building permit.
A tip for the permit. On the map, instead of putting "solar collectors", it is sometimes better to put "canopy on a slate gray background". It goes better. I read this in a book 30 years ago ... But currently, the sun is in fashion and there are certainly fewer problems.

Who can answer me?

What would be the drawback of black "coils" of polyethylene (the current pipes for running water), rather than copper?
It seems to me that polyethylene is much cheaper ...

cordially
AJH

I think the polyethylene is too thick and too insulating so poor performance

copper is great for transmitting calories

a simple declaration of work, as for a fence, a garden shed, would suffice (conditional careful), according to a heating engineer so no building permit. Unless the house is within the perimeter of a listed monument, church, old house, .... there is not even worth it.

Hi everyone...

I find great the "homemade" solar panel, in fact, no need for advanced technology to achieve it.

Does anyone have experience in Switzerland? and that I could possibly meet?

hi everyone on this great forum

I will make my sensors with brass plates of
2 mx 1m and 5mm thick

12 tubes of diameter 8 of 1m welded on the plate and spaced 15 cm axis to axis and welded at the end on tees of 8 x18 x18 and tube of 18 then outlet 18 or 20

my question is this because nobody talks about dilation :(

since the expansion of the plate is important in the trunk with the heat you do how because the outlet tubes must move a lot
and also according to you 2m x 1m too big or not

I found copper plates 2m x 1m x 0, 5mm at 51 euros HT too expensive or not who says better

thank you for your answers and congratulations to cuicui for your editing and your help

good evening to all
