Shared energy: eco-energy investment

by Christophe » 12/05/14, 20:08

Here is a great initiative for truly solidarity-based and ecological savings investments!

Shared Energy is a movement that supports, finances and federates citizen projects for the production of renewable energy and energy management.

Shared Energy is a citizen movement, founded by pioneering organizations in solidarity finance and renewable energies. It is made up of project leaders supported by thousands of citizen shareholders who wish to regain control of their investment power and their choice of energy consumption.

Their charter is completely "econological": http://www.energie-partagee.org/la-char ... tag%C3%A9e

The energy production and consumption model of industrialized countries in general, and of France in particular, leads to four dead ends representing a major threat to the ability of humanity to live in acceptable conditions on Earth:

Environmental deadlock: climatic upheavals and other attacks on ecosystems and human life;

Economic and geopolitical impasse: short or medium term depletion of non-renewable resources; uneven distribution of geological resources on the planet, which is the source of many conflicts over their appropriation;

Social impasse: inequitable access to the North as well as to the South to the vital minimum of energy services aggravated by the confiscation, under cover of opening to competition, of the activity of supply of electricity to the exclusive service of short term financial interests.

Political deadlock: centralized energy policies leading to a loss of interest of the population, to a disengagement of certain communities, constituting a brake to the citizen reappropriation of energy issues.
