thank you for the links, I know the studies debates and tests on engines with palm oil; More utilsiateur since 8 years 100% rolling frying oil (sunflower, rapeseed) blackjack, several engines, I think I know what I mean to say:
It costs nothing, we get an old engine at 3 times nothing, we run it in oil "in the right conditions" of course, it costs nothing, it makes electricity and heat.
as christophe says: you have to respect certain conditions.
if the engine has start 100% oil can be observed intermittent regimes, if not with tehcnique kit bicarbruation, it will not be the same utilsiation, it will launch after occasionally (like once a night but that's fine too).

Otherwise a 50 / 50 engine oil / fuel oil is already not bad ... and pretty much limits the risk of premature wear! If not put a doping on the water!

Interesting these reports! It confirms one of my fears that a basic engine is not made to run 8 at 10h a day, every day for heating. We arrive quickly at 500h (about 2 months) of operation.

On reflection, do a knock on purely oil is not necessarily the ideal: 3 4000 liters per year. To use only salvaged oil (Jonale's big dada apparently : Cheesy:), you need a good supplier ...
With the purchase, the oil is cheaper than the vegetable oil (remains to check the possible taxes).
As Christophe says, it is better to leave on a percentage of oil + low which will represent a volume not too complicated to recover and filter and that will always make a small economy.

I had followed the thread on CODEART, it is true that their structure and workshop is quite impressive!
