Best possible terrain for geothermal energy

Renewable energies except solar electric or thermal (seeforums dedicated below): wind turbines, energy from the sea, hydraulic and hydroelectricity, biomass, biogas, deep geothermal energy ...

Small question: what is the "manufacturer" life of the pipes (PER I believe like those of heated floors, right?) Of the heat pump sensors? 30, 40, 50 years old?

Same question concerning those used for heated floors (we have some that are almost 25 years old I don't know the exact date of installation) ... I know that we only use them for about 30 years but ... the builders must have an idea of the service life?

From memory, the crosslinked polyethylene (PER) of VELTA heating floors ((the pipes are red or rather burgundy) installed in my home has an estimated life (or rather guaranteed) of 50 years. I would have to find the doc VELTA, but I'm practically sure of it. Mine are 22 years old (installed in 1985) ...... another 28 years to go !!!
Prudence requires that we put antifreeze because if the house remains closed for a long time with very cold winters, the water may freeze in the pipes (it happened to the heating engineer during installation, and he had very scared ... he didn't tell me until later when he saw that there was no pressure drop in the circuit).

Only when he has brought down the last tree, the last river contaminated, the last fish caught that man will realize that money is not edible (Indian MOHAWK).
