PMG Aerogenerator

by villabonni » 01/01/07, 13:34

Hello everyone, happy new year

Still within the framework of wind turbines with a horizontal axis and more particularly with a vertical axis, can we superpose several rotors + stator sub-assembly in a volume X, without any interaction?

Thank you in advance for your help.
PS If you have links in French on the subject, thank you again.

Hello

not well understood your question, you speak about the electrical part or "fan"?

if it is the "fan" part: no problem on the vertical axes (just reverse the direction of rotation so that your axis does not wiggle); on the horizontal axes it is extremely close to take advantage of the venturia effect or (this that I recommend) separated by at least 1/3 of the diameter of the blade.

for the electrical part I am not competent : Cry:

Hi Zac,

my question actually concerns the generator part and not the fan. I just want to know if we can lay out several staror-rotor assemblies on the same transmission shaft (vertical type darrieus) without the magnetic fields being disturbed? Are there minimum distances between the sub-assemblies?
thank you for your answers

resalut

if you shield them well with a faraday cage, it shouldn't be a problem.

Finally, you don't get too mad on a lot of cars. The starter is near the computers and the alternator and it works impeccable.
