Oil, gas, coal, nuclear (PWR, EPR, hot fusion, ITER), gas and coal thermal power plants, cogeneration, tri-generation. Peakoil, depletion, economics, technologies and geopolitical strategies. Prices, pollution, economic and social costs ...

The madness of the French, launched since 60 years in nuclear power, who believe it is impossible not to continue this madness, when they have already had much luck on these 60 years of not having a Fukushima- Chernobyl in France, a region drained, flushed, sterilized for centuries.

They forget reiterate that these areas will be evacuated, depopulated, uncultivable for centuries, following excessive contamination shaped leopard randomly, not round at all !!!

They have not heard of www.dlsc.ca to replace imprisonment without pollution electric heating or not !!
Regrettable!!

They have not heard of the possibility of storage of solar heat underground to 300 ° C, as done by a volcano, to preserve this energy the day to night, summer to winter, and have with a solar thermal plant, a continuous power generation 24h / 24, even on cloudy periods, cheap storage !!! (Patenting)

Interesting but so pessimistic ...

The estimated population in 300 km seems a little exaggerated no?

Take the center of Paluel in 76, 57.8 it gives M capita 300 km? : Shock:

There have beautiful Paris and Brussels in the area, it seems to me much. I am wrong?

What does that mean PPI zone?

Whatever the exact number, the idea to spread is that no one is immune to radiation if farts, and whatever the place where you live in France ...
We all within 100 300 kms to a nuclear power plant with risk of a situation or Fukushima tchernobil happen, period.

If just the contrary I think it matters.

Ca lie by exaggerating the population says a lot about the other numbers they can advertise and methods ... and it discredits Greenpeace as a whole !!

Chooz A ca be 80 Millions ??? There are cows and rabbits ???

After it may be that I'm terrible at geography?

with risk of a situation or Fukushima tchernobil happen, period.

risk is a certainty to happen sooner or later inevitably because we men are not infallible in perpetuity, we are not infallible supermen, as gods, as our leaders want us to believe, saying that we must continue the past, so we grazed disaster repeatedly 60 these years !!

This reasoning is never written even by environmentalists, then that is the basis of probabilities.
And actual accidents Fuushima Chernobyl show that this probability is not negligible, as we ment since 60 years !!

It is the same that we are not infallible to escape a car accident on roads, even being hyperprudent !!!
For Nuclear they want us to believe that this will never happen !!

Well I do not know ... believe:

The IDF did not in 10 Millions?
Belgium makes 11 M
Complete Holland (it is not fully in 300km) 17 M

+ A 20aine large cities 500 000 capita, 10M more ...
(Probably less true)

Here we are at 50 M ... by adding the other people I see bad start exceed 60 M?

Total France is 65 Millions!

But as said, I am not a size geo either ...
