1) I think, quite to pass for an idiot of law (which I am not), that an RMIste (I have been) does not really "need" to refuel several times a month .. . He wouldn't even need a car at all ... am I wrong?

Ah if he has to go get a job ... by car ..: Cheesy:... the system is well done and that's why the Rmistes cost governments very little ... (contrary to what many people think ...)

2) I punch and sign: in the event of a crisis (even in transition) it is the people of the countryside who are doing the best, look at the periods of conflict to convince you ... It is not they who burst the dale ... on the contrary they get richer ... (which would not hurt most farmers ... just to give real value to agricultural production ...)

I will put a flat on saying that we are in a globalized agricultural trade; and if the transport costs go up, we will import less but also also the exports of our own products.
To return to penury conditions as in 40/45 and see for example the prices of F&V soar with Franco-French self-production / consumption; things should really go badly! .... but if that's the price to pay to train quietly by bike on our roads (I specify I am a runner) : Lol:

ps: with us from May to September, we are invaded by big cars with foreign plates and which block our roads!

Oil at $ 250

by AVEVA » 01/09/06, 10:45

Extract from the AVEVA site

So to this day

WE HAVE NO SUBSTITUTE ENERGY FOR OIL
(Hydrogen is not an energy source but an energy vector, the production of which requires hydrocarbons, gas or electricity of all origins ...) consult: http://www.annso.freesurf.fr

In the coming decade, the financial markets will make the world realize that it can no longer burn "black gold" at random!
From 2015 the toe (tonne of oil equivalent) should reach € 3500 or a barrel (159l) $ 500 ($ 50 in 2005, + 30% / year) similarly for 1400m3 of LNG or 1 tec (tonne of coal equivalent)
it is the sine qua non condition to protect the planet from global warming.

Our lifestyles will be turned upside down. It is important to use this period of barely 10 years to plan and initiate an action plan at the level of town planning, town planning, territory, road infrastructure, transport.

The change will come mainly from car manufacturers (and all other motorized vehicles) 8)

I think all of the participants in this forum agree on this point.
On the other hand, I am almost convinced that if a presidential candidate presented himself with the following proposal in his program:
A cheeky candidate wrote:Gradual increase in taxes on petroleum products in order to finance alternative energies and gradually de-accustom the French economy of declining energy

Well, this candidate there would be badly fired during the vote.
If everyone agrees on the harmful effects of a world shot in oil, we are already less likely to think that its decline is near and that the withdrawal will be brutal.
As for the number of people who would agree to such a measure, in my opinion, it is counted on the fingers of a penguin hand. : Cry:

So
1) the problem of retirement does not exist, in fact because we can make them pass for RMIstes if I follow your reasoning and in addition it is posiftive because it allows young people to access employment ....

2) what always amazes me is the size of our fields ...... if we have to do this by hand it promises ..... but hey the old ones managed to live so why not us.

Which makes me get confused on all the agricultural machines as well as the cranes, mobile cranes which are used to make the maintenance of super heavy installation .... like wind turbines ...

jancovici president! jancovici president!

for the number of people who would agree: first there is me, it does more than the hand of the penguin, but I said it already.
but also a lot of people on this forum , no ? don't tell me otherwise or i'm depressed.

But of course you are not the only one. I too sign for the candidate who would have the political courage for such a proposal.

When I spoke of the fingers of a penguin's hand, it was in percentage (proportional to the number of voters).

Even if all the contributors to Econologie voted for the same candidate, compared to 40Millions (with a ladle) of voters, it represents only a drop of water in the ocean.

Official energy solutions -

by AVEVA » 07/09/06, 12:54

Of course you are right, we are only a few who have integrated the phenomena of depletion and climate change.
But today everyone has heard about it, and those who say "we will find something else" are beginning to doubt ...
The message gets through and makes its way, 31 deputies have drawn up a report (3021), it should be read on
http://www.assemblee-nationale.fr/12/ra ... 021-tI.asp
it is a big step in the right direction that politicians have become aware of the problem that concerns us because they are the only ones who have the means and the power to change things.
I would like to have your opinion on this report which I already mentioned in another index but without further action! Yet I find this report revolutionary.

I'm glad I found this forum.

Ah you know with all the IT tools that come to us we could mount a candidate (come on :) you have a nice vegetarian smile) and thanks to a wiki (a program ... come on chick :))
We share the posts of ministers: p
