Hello

Looking at the burner and the drip this has existed for a very long time, the oldest must have seen these furnaces in garages in the years 50 to 60 at the time when it was heated with old motor oil.
There was a drip system on a cast iron piece in the middle of the red-hot pot in the flame, these drops fell on the red font burst and made a dispersion of the flame which made it more transparent blue, practically without smoke. (but nobody analyzed the gases in the chimney)
also we had to clean the bottom of the buddy every week

With the ban on burning motor oils, these furnaces have disappeared, especially currently the synthetic oils with additives, we are far from pure mineral oils where the additives were castor oil.
