I was thrown into the water and finally watched GASLAND this morning.
What an extraordinary way to rot a week's vacation.
Little reminder for late arrivals, the doc will be broadcast next Tuesday evening on ARTE at 20:30 p.m. in HD (duration 1h45): Tuesday 09 July 2013.
Seen on daylimotion
http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xtslpi_gasland_news
it is divost VOSTFR of passable video quality. 47 minutes
In any case if it finally starts here: France from above goes to crack against France from below.
A little thought for our American cousins (from below):
"welcome to hell brothers".
No pun on the flames of hell

You have to watch Gasland for what it is, that is to say an admirable propaganda film, very well produced, partly financed, controlled and commissioned by Venezuela, whose interest is to sell its oil to the US , and therefore lead to fracking in the US.
Almost everything that is said in it is false.
The fracking industry has released a film that says the opposite, that fracking is so cool, good, the two films have roughly the same credibility, that is, not masses, but as Josh Fox is a kind of leftist sold bohemian green booze, he is of course favored by the media.
Matt Damon will release a film on fracking (Promised Land); in funding we find the Emirates, of course.
In short, with all this it is impossible to have credible information on this whole story of fracking ...

Montebourg would like to entrust the exploitation of shale gas to a public company
July 10, 2013 New Factory
If an "ecological" solution were developed, Arnaud Montebourg would like the exploitation of shale gas to be entrusted to a national public company and not to the private sector. The "rent" captured by this company would be used in particular to finance "ecological change" and to improve the competitiveness of French industry, had already defended the minister - in a personal capacity - during a hearing at the National Assembly the day before .
Soon a "French schist"? If a non-polluting solution was developed, the Minister of Productive Recovery Arnaud Montebourg wants the exploitation of shale gas to be entrusted to a national public company and not to the private sector, his team told AFP on Wednesday July 10. .
Capturing rent to finance renewable energies
The "rent" captured by this company would be used in particular to finance renewable energies and to improve the competitiveness of French industry, had already defended the minister - in a personal capacity - during a hearing in the National Assembly the day before.
"To capture the rent, and there it is a completely personal position that does not commit the government, it is an idea (...), it is that we can have a public and national company exploiting the gases shale, and capturing the rent, sharing it with the territories, making it possible to affect industries as closely as possible, reducing the price of energy for them and ensuring the financing of the energy change in the rest of the country, and in particular freeing us from hydrocarbons", argued Arnaud Montebourg.
The minister's team made it clear on Wednesday that this assumption was made well within "the framework set by the President of the Republic which is to say that there will be no hydraulic fracturing". This controversial basement cracking technique presents environmental risks, which prompted François Hollande to commit not to grant an operating permit during his five-year term. "Research is possible on other techniques than that of hydraulic fracturing, for the moment this research has not succeeded, I cannot prohibit it, it is not prohibited by law", had however François Hollande indicated last November.
"We will soon be reaching ecological shale gas"
The Minister of Productive Recovery is justly confident about this search for a non-polluting technique. "I think that we will arrive with the technology in a very short time to ecological shale gas. Where there is no pollution, "he declared Arnaud Montebourg on Tuesday, July 9." Why could we not convince reasonable environmentalists? They are mostly reasonable. They are even all reasonable, "he said, before adding:" I noted that in all the alternative to nuclear scenarios, we advocated increasing the use of gas (... ) We have here perhaps the possibility of getting out of the impasse in which our energy equation finds itself today".
Strong reactions from environmentalists
The exploitation of shale gas has become, with nuclear power, the new energy workhorse in France, with supporters on the one hand generally close to the economic world and on the other opponents worried about environmental damage. The minister's words have in any case provoked the anger of several environmental activists, who have already recovered since the dismissal of the Minister of Ecology Delphine Batho. The latter had notably mentioned the influence of Vallourec and the pro shale gas lobby to explain his eviction.
"Montebourg returns to the charge in favor of shale gas, against the advice of the government. We fired for less than that", tweeted in reaction the Vice-President of the National Assembly and deputy for Europe Ecology the Greens, Denis Baupin.

He has already found the "concrete" argument: thanks to the gds, they will be able to finance the energy transition.
All that remains is to find (or rename!) An exploitation technique that allows you to drown the fish, to make you forget about hydraulic fracturing.
Not too hard, then just start an "expert" quarrel and public opinion will eventually lose interest in the issue (is there a blithe in the room?).
After fracking, fucking?

Roooh ahmed we never read you like that! Writing frucking would have been a nice neologism lol!
For Montebourg it is pure and simple scientific couillonade! 40 years ago we were talking about the same way about nuclear !!
And the state can resume a good share in the total group !!
