Consumption of a yacht !! 200000 liters / 15 days

by jean63 » 28/01/07, 10:20

Found in the forum of the site "Ecological Pact of Nicolas Hulot":
http://forum.pacte-ecologique-2007.org/ ... hp?id=1180

There I am 500% disgusted. For my birthday, it's not great. Well, I'm going to change my occupation: watch comic films like "diner decons" or other De Funès .. !!!!

To read in full ........ here is the final:
Regarding the price of 200 000 euros it is only for diesel. For a boat like this one will add 200 000 has 300 000 euros per week plus nouriture the wines which I think must not be Beaujolais etc ... For the consomation it is not only the engines there also has the 3 generators that turn as soon as the boat leaves the port and for little the tenant does not want to stay at anchor all this turns H24. It's crazy, when the mechanic on board told me that I came across the CUL. And boats like this one, there are hundreds of them turning in the Mediterranean. there is a site called yacht spotter which shows a good part of all fuel pumps.

it goes back to the book I started talking about "how the rich destroy the planet"

So what? How much yacht and how much car or fuel oil boiler on Earth? Again this argument aims to follow the argument (very reassuring):

"It's not me, it's the others!"

In the same kind could have said: how many km Hulot did (in helicopter, boat, 4x4, plane ...) to do its broadcasts on the ... Nature?

ps: Happy birthday anyway :)

Hello

It is a very small, or it only sails one hour a day : Mrgreen:

@+

PS: a "normal" Motor yacht (40metre 6000hp); it is 1.2tonne / hour in navigation and 40litres / ha in the stop.

It reminds me of some memories: in fact at your age I was in the army (yes 12 month in my time !!) in Trier in Germany in heavy artillery, I was radio Morse (after a training period of 2 intensive months); It has disappeared recently (the walrus). We had a good time with that.

I had a computer IUT after the bac C (S now) then a year of work before leaving to the army .... here it is, it is very far away all that. And you ?

We are always at full power the customers do not support the crossings they always want to arrive before being left, I exploited 4 there 16ans (of small 30 meters and 42meters).

In NGV one went to 2.5tonnes / hours but to 40 nodes instead of 24.

if you need a pipe I still have the diskettes of the account (back), the budget gas oil was pretty ediffiant : Evil:
