In the 70s the dark gray concrete plaster was made at the bottom light gray at the top just because it was pretty, in the Lot the same plaster was made on stone walls so that the old houses look like pretty new ones in concrete blocks (other times other customs ...). We stuck inside the lino decoration stones ...

For the adobe house of my grandparents (St Marcellin in Isère) it is the south side which was not plastered in the 70s, just because it cannot be seen from the village, and probably also for under questions since it is the largest area.

This concrete plaster which does not let breathe the upwelling of water from the ground I am not too fan besides ...

Otherwise, the rammed earth traditionally does not have plaster, the barns that remain have none.

No belts either for these houses is the frame that holds everything, it is also at this level that it releases (it is oak so not too much problem of insects but the frames have been cut to to pass modern agricultural machinery, poorly designed, undersized, or ground movements, etc.).

For my grandparents there are notarial writings on the house since 1630, but with additions over the generations.

earth house is not necessarily pizé (Morocco), I know the principle, but there is a lot of false pizé (lime mixture), for the pizé I know a new construction (subdivision of La Chabeaudiere in St Antoine, that of cyril, that's it, good I'm going (lack of time)

White would not exist without the dark, but anyway!
