HAHAHA is the joke of the French scientist : Mrgreen:

if not, for the with, I was also dubious about its effectiveness on pre-chamber diesels, but the drop in consumption and the improvement in torque in the low and medium revs made me change my mind.

  1. Turbulence takes place in the combustion chamber
  2. It is generated by the intake valve and also depends on the geometry of this chamber
  3. It must be optimized to be effective
  4. Adding external turbulence would therefore be counterproductive
Or is placed WITH, I do not see the action that it can have of beneficial in this device.
At first glance, it has a shape that reduces the air intake surface: It is feared a lack of power at high speed and at altitude, like a dirty air filter. :(

Not finished analyzing the thing but I have not yet found a confirmation of your point n ° 4.
Adding external turbulence would therefore be counterproductive.

From what I have seen in other documents, the turbulence induced by a "made to turbulate" valve is much more "powerful" than what can be created upstream like with a vortex. But precisely ... what do you need as turbulence to improve performance?

At first glance, it has a shape that reduces the air intake surface: It is feared a lack of power at high speed and at altitude, like a dirty air filter.

Normally turbulators and other vortices are in the category of "economizers" so the power at high speed who cares if it brings something in the range of use "economical" / close to the maximum torque speed.

Hello, yes this model inflates the air filter slightly, with each acceleration, or air flow, automatically, and passes more air, + quickly ... I mounted a double on my motorhome .. .see my messages ...

hello, here is my last AIR CYCLONE height 55 mm with two eleven blades, for air intake pipes from 69 mm to 75/80 mm inside ... The junctions slide one on the other, see photos...
The advantage of this kind of model is its universal meaning, no need to ask which way to place it in the air tube, and the air vortices are swirling as a reminder ... economy when you hold us ..

hello, yes I installed a double in the air inlet just before an air filter, this "inflates" the air filter a little, which becomes more permeable and makes the air pass better to the chambers of combustions ... very efficient ... to recommend ...

+1, Given this turbine on an Ibiza petrol, better acceleration noted by the owner. :)
