Hello, I would like to give you my feedback on the use of a whirlpool generator:
I bought a whirlpool generator on ebay, ordered in the USA: It is simply a cut sheet with triangles, just roll it up and fold the triangles.
I installed it in the intake duct of my fiat ducato, 2.5D engine 170kms. It is arranged in camping because therefore I always make the same type of journeys (national at 000-90 km / h), little city. Before the installation on 100 kms I was running at around 30 l / 000. My consumption on a full tank never dropped below 11 l / 100.
After installation I managed for the first time to go below 1 l / 10 (100 l / 9.8). The following fillings slightly above 100l / 10. Hence a saving of around 100l / 1.
So here to conclude I think it's worth it to install it, there is very little to lose, especially if you make it yourself. It's very simple to do.

just a precaution to take: check that the vortex created does not oppose the existing vortex if the manufacturer has provided one!
