It seems to me that we are messing around a bit: in March 2007, a certain Chevelle 69 (which has never made a publication) initiates this post and some others follow suit.
We think we are dreaming: we have always had testimonies on these forums who say that the magnet systems do not work, except by the placebo effect! And here, we bring out this old subject!
Once and for all: until you can prove
by "double blind" test let these things work, refrain (I almost used another, coarser term)
So, the procedure when you really believe in an economizer:
- get one or two.
- summon two or three "forumeurs econologists "well known with their vehicles. (whose consumption they know well)
- unbeknownst to the drivers, but with an observer, put it on or not put it in place (or put it into service). The observer cannot have contact with the driver.
- drive 3 or 4 times 100 km timed on the motorway by connecting or disconnecting the device at the refueling / measurement stops, so that the driver does not know anything.
and then, we will see (don't forget that I consider the last tests of Jean Marc Moreau noted by the bailiff as bogus, the car being able to perfectly have been "prepared" for the test, the bailiff - in this case a bailiff - not qualified to verify the conformity of the vehicle)
In the meantime, I would always express strong reservations about the effectiveness of these booby traps sold by scammers (pcq, even if it works it is sold 3 or 4 X too expensive!)
