Uh! ... Andre, you do not say the same thing in the subject "Fuel savings with acetone?".
You recommend 400ml for 80 liters of petrol.
That makes 500ml for 100 liters = 0,5 liters for 100 liters = 0,5%
Here you recommend: "For acetone at 33 cl for 50 liters you will just perfume the essence
330cl you start talking .. "

That's 660cl for 100litres = 6,6 liters for 100litres = 6,6%…
You said that Gordini used 8%.
More The must use as much as possible, 0,5%…
At 6,6%, there, the engine "will start talking", but Laurent 73, will become a pioneer in these tests… : Cheesy:

thank you for your info, unfortunately I can't convince the family to switch to LPG ... : Cry: especially since the space engine had been changed and has only 23000km, so we could have benefited.

Going to LPG is a bit like entering religion. : Evil:

It is a real initiatory journey :x

But if the question still interests you, only one address: the FORUM FEVE

It's the Mecca of LPG : Mrgreen:

Hello gegyx

Eh yes ! I mix the cl and the mll
I hope no one tried ...
So at 0,5% it becomes consistent
At 0,3% this is where we start to notice a difference

It is that in the current language one speaks more often in milliliters, as in the measurements in millimeter, I had confused 33 ml which I found ridiculously low.
I think that the form% would be much more universal and would also adapt for the other measures (eleven)

Fortunately there are some who have their eyes open,

(I made the correction above)

Although on a petrol engine I will probably go to an extreme, a few liters just to see what it looks like.

Hello good night, :D

No, for the moment I am staying with my basic test: 11cl (0.22%), 22cl (0.44%), 33cl (0.66).
As I said on another subject, it only remains to choose the right bottle of beer.

But as I am going to technical control in the coming month, and there is little chance that the 19 will pass, why not try it out ... :!:
We'll discuss it again later...
the savoie who listens to you

PS: I'm going on forum Enjoy this click ...

Hello

for the 22cl polar polar president (venezuela), 33cl it's easy and 11cl a gallop served at the eastern station by an Auvergne : Cheesy:

Renault LPG area

by Peutin Louis » 03/01/08, 18:48

: Evil:
LPG user since 1988 on a 2001 space equipped by a professional, I was delighted to see Renault release an LPG space. So I bought it new from a Renault employee. Since I collect the bucks ... 2 change of culace, 1st to 70000, 2nd to 120000, change of engine to 197000. I don't count the times or the air filter exploded. I thought I had finished the pain with a new engine but on January 2, 2008 the Couroie of distribution gives up the ghost. Thank you Renault for this wonderful car. See you soon in customer service .....

You're really unlucky. On my R25 GTX 2,2 liters from 1989 bought from occasion in 1998 at 165000 kms equipped with LPG (mounted at 140000 kms at a LPG pro by the previous owner), I never had a serious problem. The engine now has 310000 km and has never been opened (not even a cylinder head gasket); Replacement of the timing belt and other belts (normal = wear = maintenance).
I am not sure that your engine pbs are linked to LPG or the timing belt !!! ??????.

The explosion in the air filter has a name (flash back .... or something like that) and it has a cause: candles in poor condition in general. I had this bp on my car once. It is also necessary to adjust the play of the rocker arms but on a recent model, as it seems to be the case I do not think that the LPG eats the valve seats. See on specialized sites: there is a forum GPLists who know all the ads.

When I bought this car from a private individual, the Renault garage in the corner had me in trouble that I never had : Lol: .

Well, your professional is who ... because you shouldn't go.
Flashbacks are known issues with known causes.
Finally, the "original" LPGs sold by Renault are not successful and especially good LPG technicians are rare, including in the Renault network where we hear the technicians saying a lot of "nonsense". : Shock:

Your problem is more an incompetent garage problem than an LPG problem ...
The rupture of the timing belt has nothing to do with LPG, rather a maintenance problem (periodicity not respected) or parts (non replacement of the tension rollers) or assembly (bad assembly, loose).
I once had problems with mounting an LPG kit (French brand that quickly went bankrupt) I changed it as warranty by the installer with a specially studied Dutch kit (calculator, electrical harness ...) for my car (safrane 2.2si). It is now turning in my 2nd safrane (almost 6 years of service and 120.000 km).
Ah yes, I stopped the interviews at the dealership at € 1.000 including tax 10 days of immobilization and LPG broken down by the garage. : Evil:
Now I do it myself ... :?

Perfectly agree with you. a majority of garage owners are incompetent in LPG adjustment. My vehicle is only returned 2 times to the approved installer:
1 - in 2000 to install the new compulsory safety valve (moreover since I can fill the tank less).

2 - following a ratatouillage, they did nothing .... that an invoice for having taken a screwdriver and pretended to settle any wealth on the steam regulator; I had my rockers adjusted and the candles changed and off we went.

Not known the interviews at 1000 euros !!! thieves !!! there is nothing to do on an LPG circuit.

Keep in mind it smells of exhaust gas currently in cold weather, but the engine is running well ... is this normal? perhaps the heater not efficient enough (review the heating bypass stuck on the cooling circuit?).
