with a semi of 38 tons, would one be entitled to expect the same economy if the mixture was practiced?

jeff

the 40 has been sown for a long time ... and we are studying the possibility of 60 tons (already authorized in some European countries)
Considering the enormous cost of the machines used and their great mileage endurance, I think that no transporter (except on a truck at the end of the roll) would have fun doing experiments which could damage the engine ... besides the tanks of a PL are "slightly" larger than those of a car ...

The semi trailers 2 axles on tractor two axles it is always of topicality (especially on skips TP for the shifting less important) and the PTC of the whole is 38 tons ...

The French carriers are demenent to spend 44tonnes for ages and can not ... 60 tons ... It's fortunately not for now ...

A carrier would not make such an experience for the simple reason that it would not touch tax on the sp95 ...
Everything is good for them to consume less ... You can believe me..As most tractors are leased I can also guarantee that they do not have much to do that a motor breaks. ..The maintenance practiced on this kind of gear is very often summary see sold ... I see you go under my window between 120 and 200 per day ... In the yard of my taf we find platelet heel Brake braking regularly ... a good majority of drivers are gougeats who have nothing to do with the stuff that is entrusted to them ... The only thing that matters them is to return home as soon as possible possible...

actually aware that on this type of gear, the tank can reach 1000 l even the double ... moreover they (the carriers and in general the professionals of the transport) have a consequent refund of the TIPP on the fuel. I do not think an economy of 10% is the order of the day, unless they can gain in another way, such as a surplus of power for example. (in addition to VAT recovery)

my question did not touch this particularity but a possibility of fuel economy, nothing else.

Goujat!, Macro! and again, you weigh your words : Mrgreen: : Evil:

What annoys me the most is that they put the cruisecontrol and prefer to honk you like oxen rather than slow down!

[HS on]
If only they could put the cruise control at 50 in agglomeration instead of driving faster! : Evil:
[HS off]

Otherwise we get lost a bit of the subject of the beginning, can we talk about SP95 in diesel : Cheesy:

Hello, here are some infos concerning my message of the month of June on the assembly of magnets and the use of the SP95:
https://www.econologie.com/forums/voiture-diesel-consommer-moins-avec-un-peu-de-sp95-t5849-790.html

I tried to summarize and explain my experiences and discovery on another forum which I am part of:
http://www.civicyume.com/forum/viewsujet.php?f=11&t=5933&p=231280#p231280

550km traveled with half of full 25 liters:

I obviously mentioned my CAD sources, the forum econology. : Cheesy:

Hello

I give you the rest of my test with a little SP95 in diesel.
My vehicle is an 106 1.5 95.

I remember that I had already done 3 full last winter with SP:
-4.4% = 4.3l / 100
-7.2% = 4.9l
-6.8% = 4.2l

I then do 3 full diesel:
-3.9l / 100
-3.9l
3.7l

Then I started again with SP:
-6.7% = 3.7l / 100
-10.4% = 4l
-5.1% = 3.9l

And finally with diesel:
-4.1l / 100

For me the result is quite clear there is no noticeable difference in the consumption of my car with the addition of SP95. On the other hand with a dose of 10% I could see an increase in the slamming of the engine and a higher pitch. It also appeared a vibration in the engine compartment never heard before. My oil consumption has also increased since the use of SP but it is not necessarily linked.

I put you the graph of my consumptions. The use of SP is indicated by red dots and it is clear that there is no impact. The consumptions are smoothed by means of consecutive 3 solid.

To save fuel, I recommend more eco-driving and over inflation of tires.

PS: I performed TCB but they are less conclusive than during my first tests. If you want the pictures tell me.

Hello,

Today I did a cloth test (Dimension 50par50) on 21 BAM with my diesel clio with a mix experimental of: ~ 15% of rapeseed oil + 7% of SP 95 + 78% of gas oil.
Image
(The clio rolled 500 KM with this mix before doing the test)
ConclusionSimilar to the tests of Capt_Maloche,
https://www.econologie.com/forums/voiture-diesel-consommer-moins-avec-un-peu-de-sp95-t5849.html
however my clio does not have a catalytic converter (year95)

In addition, there is less smell in the exhaust and the engine seems to gain power.
