Candle decreasing the conso from 40 to 50%

Tips, advice and tips to lower your consumption, processes or inventions as unconventional engines: the Stirling engine, for example. Patents improving combustion: water injection plasma treatment, ionization of the fuel or oxidizer.

That's right, Wednesday! (as my old mother used to say, not to mention Cambronne's word!)

I read the post with interest, my experience of mechanics, leads me to applaud André sorry it's stronger than me :D

There is something that nobody has spoken is the one developed by a garage in the south of France (an old, tattooed) and walking and that would make 10% of economy we talked about it to the TF1 journal in the summer 2007, I think.

Just make a small round hole in front of the central electrode with a bit of 3 or 4 / 10ème mm and well deburred after, not tried with a hand drill, it takes a minimum of precision anyway! Column or small standing Dremel.
If centered, the spark goes round and is more frank, I could not experiment, I have more gasoline engine, but ...
My brother tried this on this bike, the ignition is better and the color of a delicious mocha as we do more ...

Greetings from Lietseu :P

You have searched badly I think: https://www.econologie.com/forums/tf1-20-heu ... t2837.html

10% is not 50% ... so it is already much more believable and therefore plausible ... but the trial of the usher TF1 report is worth quedale ...

Here is André's experience:

Andre wrote:Hello,

I put some on my Chevrolet engine
I have bought candles that porcelain is no longer out, the electrode a little wider, I just pierced the central electrode
Not pierced on the sides, I can not imagine with a big hole open before he will press for flames of gas out through these holes? Although everything is possible What I can see inside the engine I can not control it. For the moment the idle is improved, on the consumption it has not increased, if it has decreased it is difficult to measure, but nothing better than a slow motion justifies that the lights these candles on the engine , the next I will drill holes on the sides, a good try is preferable to a long discussion on theories ..
the first ones I tested the holes were not in the angles like on your post higher ...

:P Thanks for the tip for the searches, I had not seen the trial of the usher ...
All I know to have tested it (via my brother it's true) is that when the hole is made just in front of the center electrode - as André says - the engine runs better and just for its it's worth it ! (I never claimed, you could save 50% fuel!) Or did not I understand?
Best regards from Lietseu :P

No you understand, we agree: it improves the combustion and you can expect to win 10%.

No more...
