Thank you for your question. The answer is simple: when one travels less than 50 km, power pack capacity is sufficient not to start the engine (or almost no). We drive in almost 100% electric, and fuel consumption is close to zero.
It is always better to maximize the power pack when available renewable electricity because the E85 includes a share of non-renewable fuel (15% of fossil fuel type SP95-SP98).
I suppose we must still switch to the ordinary engine after a hundred kilometers.
