LED lights or xenon lights?

Tips, advice and tips to lower your consumption, processes or inventions as unconventional engines: the Stirling engine, for example. Patents improving combustion: water injection plasma treatment, ionization of the fuel or oxidizer.

the xenon lighting seems to have a yield close to 100lumens / W as for the diodes, would it be so efficient?

In this case yes, I thought that Xenon was a simple evolution of the hallogens ...

I will ask a question maybe a little naive but I remember qd I was in college (there are ten years already snif), we already manipulated del in physics class, how is it that they have not really penetrated the market until today and that they serve almost only the indicators of watch while their properties are known for a long time?

Laurent, you imagine that if we consumed that very little electricity, what would become EDF! : Lol:

GEO : Idea: .

Have you seen the price of xenon lamps? : Shock:

http://www.atex.lu/kit-xenon/acheter.php

at this price I still prefer to add long headlights
door with halogen bulbs.

At least t is sure to see where you are going. :P

Do not confuse xenon bulbs with HID.

Xenon bulbs are like the one in the car some years ago but with another gas. The light should be a little bluish it seems to me.

Then there are the HID, gas discharge bulbs, which also contain xenon but this time there is more filament, it is an electric arc that makes light. In this case, you need an electronic ballast that creates a high voltage.

So which one were you talking about? the xenon or xenon ?? : Cheesy:

I always wondered why we did not have neon lights on cars, like in caravans. it's a perpetuity that it exists, it consumes almost nothing, it stays lukewarm, and in addition it lights :D

Not only !
it is mainly a discharge lamp while the others are filament lamps.
Suddenly, the power consumption / illumination ratio is much better than a conventional halogen (3 X more ...)

Merdouille, already an answer in this sense ... Too bad I leave : Wink:

For the price, it is true that it is a brake but for example on an ATV, it allows to have a lighthouse that illuminates like a 30 W with small batteries. It's great for night racing for example ...

I could see one work, it's really very impressive! Only problem, the cost ... : Shock:
