If we rely on the Belgian price (TDI 80 environment vs. TDI 80 green line) it is in the 1 000 € more, with a diesel that would be 1,50 € (to simplify the calculations but what will probably be soon the case ) you have to make 150 000 km to make the difference (200 000 with 1 €)
So it's only profitable in the long run, but the ecological argument is more important to me than the economic argument.
According to the descriptions found on various automotive sites, the recipe for reducing consumption comes as for the bluemotion of weight reduction, reworked aerodynamics and lengthening of reports. We agree that what is scandalous is that these "improvements" are not by default on all models, but hey we take what there is.

In terms of longevity, my Skoda Felicia displays more than 235000 km while consuming 6,5L on average at 100 of SP95.
My mother has a Fabia 1,4L that consumes a bit more hair but has no particular reliability issues.

The Fabia Combi is interesting but today they do not do any more the SDI that could turn vegetable oil to 100%.

Hi l'ex, back... :D

It's my daughter who inherited the felicia. Small worries, not insurmountable.
But here is the second reel in 2 years ...
Since the first breakdown, I have one in advance. : Idea:

But the conso on road has rarely fallen below 7 liters.

@Gegix: Are you talking about a Felicia essence and not a TDI fabia?

Roll in vegetable oil that is really not practical if you do not produce it yourself and if you do not easily nearby. Moreover, depending on the plants and the way in which this oil is produced, the environmental interest is greatly to qualify.
