Miners in trouble? What are these m ** infos? All the great fortunes and national wealth have been built on the extractions and looting of mineral resources!

So, poor small-scale mining ... but how did they survive before the soaring copper in recent years ???

No the problem is that they cry more to give a damn full of excavations !!! And that they will not be able to grease their shareholders as "it should" ...

that the banks refused him their support to face a crisis of cash.

So they must all cramer !!!!

Sorry I'm pissed off there!

: Evil: : Evil:

ps: a bit like real estate developers who whine when market prices ... stagnate ...

Yes, we can see where the perversion of this system leads us!

@ lessdewatt
It's not me who initiated this question, so rather responds to its author! ^^

Moreover, there is another point which leads to this fall in demand, probably. It is the growing popularity of Wi-Fi that has surpassed with mobile computing, PC networks. Result, no need to wire ethernet networks. That makes billions of miles of copper cables saved. It does not count for butter.
Ditto for peripherals which required a lot of cables and which are more and more "connected".

While on the other hand, the load of electric vehicles, takes advantage of the existing electricity network. So nothing really changes.

For cables I think you're mistaken obamot: in my opinion 90% of the RJ45 cable market is taken by industry pro ... who will NEVER switch to wifi for reasons of performance and security (banks, datacenter, stock exchanges. ..)

Rare are the individuals who have set up an RJ45 home network at home ... and even if it was the case: the network cables are a drop of water compared to the consumption of copper on a global scale !

But hey if you want cables you know where to go: https://www.econologie.com/shop/reseau-e ... -rj45-c-53

There are cables CAT6 recently ... 1 Gbit / s it is not tomorrow that the Wifi will have this capacity ...

The relationship between the variation in copper consumption and the change in the prices of this metal is done with a significant leverage effect, as is the case generally for raw materials.
We must be careful not to draw definitive conclusions ...
